Rustic wooden house with a terrace and wonderful views without Internet and TV

Welcome to the Ögghof 222 in the Kaunertal - cozy, quiet and with a wonderful view to the Kaunertal Glacier.

Very quiet, a bit out of the way - about 25 minutes on foot from the village Feichten.

In the snow-free time you come with your car directly to the house to unload your luggage. Afterwards we ask you not to park directly in the yard, but to park a car a few meters in front of the yard or to park any other vehicles with us in the village.

In winter (we have opened to "Three King!") you can reach our Ögghof 222 only on foot and by toboggan.

Make the Ögg holiday, surrounded by flower meadows and forest, with panoramic views of the mountains Kaunertaler.

They heat primarily with wood. Fireplace and wood stove bring you cozy warmth. The host will be happy to assist. However, it can of course also be electrically heated and cooked.

Romantic location, cozy interior, paneled, solid wood rooms - the carefully restored wooden house is also ideal for smaller groups and family gatherings. Sheets and towels Please bring your own.

Spacious and tastefully furnished, perfectly equipped kitchen smoke, very comfortable, the room height forth somewhat low bar, as they have been built in earlier times; all other rooms have very different ceiling heights.

Terrace, three bedrooms, small bathroom; up to max. 8 people can live and stay there - big enough for holidays with family and friends.

In 25 minutes you reach Feichten with its infrastructure, such. For example, taverns, shops, spring alpine, etc.

The Summer Card, which we believe for our guests, offers a significant price advantage in rafting, canyoning, tandem paragliding, museum floating, hiking, taster climbing, high ropes course and mountain railways Fendels;

For our children, there is the so-called. BIBI-Card; it offers a wide and interesting children's program.

Summer- & Bibi-CARD included - with these cards our holiday guests can reach the Quellalpin - in 25 min walking distance from the Ögg - as well as the outdoor pool in Prutz and the bathing lake in Ried - both places about 12 km from Feichten - use.

The bathing lake in Ried (12 km from Feichten) is an oasis for young and old and you also have free admission!

The Kaunertal is an ideal vacation and holiday destination for those seeking relaxation and dreamers, for sports lovers, hikers, bikers, and swimmers.

Numerous hiking and high-altitude trails lead you to wonderful places in the mountains. Sunrise or Sunset tours with certified hiking and mountain guides you can experience irretrievable hours.

On our pastures can get pampered with Tyrolean specialties as Brettl snacks, dumplings, pancake and fresh mountain cheese and milk or even treat yourself to a unique alpine breakfast !?

Guests enjoy beautiful holiday hours in the Natural Park Kaunergrat. There you are offered the most amazing hiking with an expert guide by biologists. For example, also on the glacier trail to the glacier tongue of Gepatschferner.

Furthermore, free participation in sports and wellness programs such as Nordic walking, bowling alley etc ... In addition, guided Easy & Surprise mountain bike tours including biking, guided hikes and tours in the nature park, museum and Greiter saw and mill are included.

Summer Card GOLD Holiday in the Tyrolean Oberland - cost around € 50, - / person and week.

The Summer Card GOLD is the ticket to boundless holiday pleasure. All cable cars in Nauders, Serfaus, Fiss-Ladis, Fendelsin the Venetregion and go up on the Kaunertal Glacier up to 3 108 meters above sea level.

In addition, is very interesting that we in the three countries meet - homes Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Motorcyclists get their money's worth here, they conquer the many surrounding Passport Sraßen in Austria, Switzerland and also in South Tyrol / Italy.

But you could also take a leisurely excursion to Merano and a little bit southern flair sniff or take a shopping spree in the duty-free area Samnaun / CH and stock up with Swiss chocolate, cosmetics, spirits and tobacco products.

A VERY PLEASANT STAY :)

The apartment is really nice and at a lovely place. The owner is so friendly and kind. We reached late night and still she was waiting for us and attended us warm hearted.

The apartment is perfect for 6-8 persons but we were 10 and still it was easily adjustable.

It is perfect if you want to disconnect with everything and enjoy the nature. I would love to visit again.

Huge Dissapointment - Building site / poor condition.

This property was a huge disappointment with many faults and problems during our stay.

Access to the property is via a forestry track that is really only suitable for a tractor (go slow or risk damage to your vehicle). You are unable to park in the farm yard because it is a shared space, so you are forced to leave your vehicle out on the forestry track approx 200m away.

The photos in the advert lead you to believe you are renting the whole farm house not a small section of one building – very misleading.

Once we arrived we found that the neighbouring property is an active building site with work on several occasions continuing past 9pm in the evening, and because of the building sites exposed electricity sockets and the trucks parked out there we were unable to let the kids play outside in the farm yard for fear of potential injury.

We quickly discovered on the first day that the drains were blocked due to the cesspit being full causing the toilet water to come back up into the shower tray (this took over 3 days to fix).

We found the condition of the farm house to be very poor with windows that could not be opened (or they would fall out),

The balcony has rotting floor boards.

The electrical wiring throughout the property is very poor and sub standard (turn the kettle on and watch the lights dim) with wires strung across the ceiling connected into the fuse box upstairs.

Loads of random nails are left hanging out all over the place along with 4 screws protruding out of the back of the bathroom door.

The door out on to the balcony had huge gaps both top and bottom (almost wide enough to get your fingers through) that allowed the wind and rain in.

At no point prior to our arrival did the owners make clear the situation concerning either the parking, building site next door or the condition of the property – if we had known any of these things we would have not booked it.

A great shame as the location, views and area are both stunning and breathtaking.

Owner's Response: Kein Wunder, dass wir von diesen Gästen (dieser Frau) eine so schlechte Bewertung bekamen, war doch der Ehemann dieser Frau so gar "amused" von dem gebuchten Urlaub eines alten Bauernhauses! Er betonte bereits beim Ankommen, dass ER so eine Unterkunft niemals gebucht hätte, doch seiner Frau schien seine Meinung darüber völlig egal zu sein. Sie ignorierte die Meinung ihres Mannes schlichtweg und lachte nur darüber. Dass wir in 18 Jahren Vermietung das ERSTE MAL eine schlechte Bewertung bekamen, ist verschmerzbar. Meiner Meinung nach, wird dieser Person nirgends etwas recht gemacht werden können. Nur komisch, dass wir unmittelbar nach dem Abreisen dieser englischen Gäste wieder eine so tolle Bewertung über unseren Hof bekamen. Lesen Sie bitte wie folgt: "Wer Gemütlichkeit, Ruhe und Weitblick sucht findet all dies und noch mehr auf der Ögg! Der Hof von Christa und ihrem Mann bietet alles, was man braucht und ist liebevoll rustikal eingerichtet: So soll es sein! Abgesehen von der unbezahlbar guten Luft und dem frischen Wasser aus dem Brunnen vor den Höfen gibt es tolle Wanderwege von leicht bis schwer, Preiselbeeren und Schwammerl im Wald inbegriffen. Toll ist die Königinnenzucht der Braunelle( Kaunertalbiene) gleich hinter der Ögg- schön, dass es sowas gibt. Wir können diesen Ort nur empfehlen- geht hin, schaltet ab und findet Ruhe- perfekt! Danke liebe Christa für deine/ eure Hilfe, wir haben uns dank euch wie bei lieben Bekannten gefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder!"

Peace & Quiet

A quirky property with great views to the Kaunertal Glacier. The road up to the property is unmade, but has some fantastic views. The property is old and has masses of charm, but has everything you need. Nice owner who lives close by if needed. Great location for walking and exploring.

Zurück in die Vergangenheit

Haben leider nur ein Wochenende dort verbracht. Das Haus war wie beschrieben. Zurück in die Vergangenheit. Man kann mit Strom kochen, haben aber den tollen alten Holzofen benutzt. Es war alles Vorhandeln was man benötigt. Die Sille und Aussicht war unbezahlbar. Christa ist eine tolle Gastgeberin.wir sagen Danke!

Besser geht´s nicht!

Wenn man den Ögg-Hof betritt, weiß man sofort, dass einen eine wunderbare Zeit erwartet.

Das mehrere hundert Jahre alte Gebäude besticht mit seinem ursprünglichen aber gleichzeitig wahnsinnig gemütlichem Charme.

Sowohl die Wohnstube mit dem Kachelofen als auch die Schlafzimmer sind Orte, an denen man sich sofort zuhause und aufgehoben fühlt.

Der Blick von der Terasse ist phantastich: Der Blick auf die Almwiesen und die bewaldeten Hänge wäre schon alleine Balsam für die Seele, aber am Ende des Taales schillert auch noch der Gletscher in der Sonne.

Wanderwege für jedes Niveau beginnen direkt vor der Haustür und nachdem die Gipfel erklommen sind kann man sich im Taal im Quellalpin, einem supermodernen Hallenbad mit angeschlossener Saunalandschaft, erholen.

DIe Gastgeber sind unglaublich hilfsbereit und engagiert und lassen keinen Wunsch unerfüllt.

Die 6 Wochen, die wir dort mit unserem Baby verbringen durften, haben uns wahnsinnig gut getan und werden wir so schnell bestimmt nicht vergessen.

Wir haben auf unserem Hof mit unseren "Leuten" eigentlich immer Glück, d.h., wer in so altem Gemäuer bzw. Holzgetäfel seine Ferien verbringen will, ist per se eine spezielle Klientel. Märchenhaft!!

Ögghof 222 im Kaunertal! Wie in uralten Zeiten! Hoch oben das Dorf liegt das Bauernhof. Sowie das Bauernhof als das Aussicht is wie im Märchen. Grüne Wiesen, Tieren run um das Hof, wild oder Kühe, Schafen und so weiter. Die frage ist nicht ob wir wieder kommen aber wann! Das Bauernhaus ist sehr alt aber ursprünglich und das ist wie es gehört! Wann man wil kan man leben wie 100 Jahr vorher. Kochen auf Küchenfeuer, die Kamin als Heizung und das alles auf Holz! Oder, das haben wir fast niet gebraucht, kochen auf ein Induktion platte. Ruhe, Friedlichkeit, stresslos und so weiter sind einige Stichworten. Mit tränen in den Augen haben wir nach eine ganz schöne Woche das Bauernhof wieder verlassen und haben es bedauert das wir nur eine Woche gebucht hatten. Worten sagen nicht alles, leider können wir hier keine Bilder hinstellen aber sucht mal unter meine name auf Facebook. Und dan schauen sie mal zwischen der Zeitraum von 03-06-2016 und 17-06-2016. Wenn man die Bilder anschaut hier auf FeWo, das ist so es wirklich ist! Wir haben Ögg 222 bewertet mit 5 Sterne, das ist weil es kein 6 gab.

The Ögg - an insider tip in the Kaunertal! Far from the beaten track you can enjoy peace and nature. The idyllic wooden house stands above Feichten at 1,444 m above sea level with a terrace to the south. Romantic location, cozy, paneled living rooms and bedrooms and new bathroom. Winter holidays only on request!

Holiday on the Ögg called - rest and relaxation to your taste in a neat wooden house. The Ögghöfe were 16 first time. C. Mentioned in documents and are therefore the oldest farms in Kaunertal.

The mountain panorama is incredibly fascinating and beautiful. The terrace overlooking to the south, among others. to the Kaunertal Glacier, is very cozy and a fine, quiet spot for outdoor sitting and eating outside.
