Pleasant combination between sea and Provencal countryside, the hamlet of Cabasson, formerly inhabited by fishermen, has kept its original character.

In this haven of calm and peace, you will rent on a weekly basis and all year round, our charming villa, The Cypresses, which is listed 4 stars and labelled “Qualité Var”.

You will have all modern conveniences for 8/10 people with private fenced garden in a calm and quiet property in Bormes-les-Mimosas in the Var department on the Côte d’Azur in France.

You will enjoy crystal-clear waters and particularly hot waters at the beaches of Cabasson and Brégançon that are often mistaken but yet very different. The access to the first one is via small dunes covered with vegetation, tamarisks and reeds. The second one is accessible via a small rocky path under pines between the path to the fort and the fishermen cabins. Its water is particularly clear and hot and sheltered from the Eastern wind.

Schöne Gegend, Haus mit sehr einfacher Ausstattung

Wir haben das blaue Haus "Les Mimosas" im Juli 2015 kurzfristig - und damit zum halben Preis- gemietet. Das Haus liegt in Cabasson, einer kleinen Ansammlung von Ferienhäusern (ohne Restaurants und Geschäften) in üppiger Vegetation, 15-20 Minuten Laufabstand zu mehreren schönen Stränden. Ich behaupte mal, es ist die schönste Ecke der Cote d´Azur. Das Fort de Bregancon liegt direkt vor der Haustüre, ein Besuch ist sehr lohnenswert. Das Örtchen Bormes-les-Mimosas (15 Minuten mit dem Auto) ist wunderschön. In St. Tropez ist man mit dem Auto in 45 Minuten.

Das Haus an sich ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, farblich stimmt alles. Die Terrasse mit der netten Weinlaube war wirklich schön. Es ist für 8-10 Personen ausgelegt, was im Sommer ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit ist. Die Empore war nicht nutzbar, dort war es heiß und stickig. Schlafen im Hochsommer ist dort undenkbar. Ebenso die kleine Abstellkammer mit dem Etagenbett für die Kinder ohne irgendwelche Luftzirkulation war nicht bewohnbar. Übrig blieben dann für uns die beiden Schlafzimmer mit relativ kleinen Betten (140x190) -mein Mann hing mit den Füßen in der Luft- und das Klappsofa im Wohnzimmer. Das Schlimmste waren die Mücken, die uns aufgrund fehlender Mückennetze das Leben zur Hölle gemacht haben. An Schlafen war kaum zu denken, da die Läden geschlossen bleiben mussten und es so extrem warm und stickig innen war. Es ist mir unverständlich, wie man ein Haus in dieser Preisklasse ohne einfach anzubringenden Insektenschutz und ohne Klimatisierung auf der ersten Etage vermieten kann. Ich denke, das hat rein ästhetische Gründe, es sollte eben alles schön aussehen. Es waren nicht nur ein paar Mücken, es war leider unmöglich die Terrasse abends zu benutzen. Durch die Außendusche des Nachbarn (das Haus selber hat leider keine) vor unserem Schlafzimmer und dem Gartenschlauch vor dem anderen Schlafzimmer, waren dort wohl besonders viele Mücken. Ich kann das Haus im Hochsommer nicht weiterempfehlen, auf keinen Fall für mehr als 6 Personen. Und die müssen dann akzeptieren, dass nachts alle Türen offenstehen müssen. Somit kann ich die 4-Sterne-Klassifizierung absolut nicht nachvollziehen.

Owner's Response: Notre villa les Mimosas est classée trois étoiles par la Préfecture du Var depuis Novembre 2001 et a été confirmée à nouveau en trois étoiles le 14 novembre 2013 pour cinq ans. Sur notre site web personnel dont l'adresse est donnée à tous nos locataires dés leur demande de location, il est possible de trouver toute information, les caractéristiques du mobilier et le plan de la villa en toute transparence Nos futurs locataires viennent dans nos villas informés et en toute connaissance de cause. Nos locataires viennent sur la Côte d'Azur pour y trouver la chaleur et le soleil en particulier l'été. Cette chaleur est parfaitement gérable dans les maisons en laissant entrouverts les volets le jour et ouverts la nuit ainsi que cela se fait depuis des années en Provence d'autant qu'il existe un microclimat moins chaud dans le hameau de Cabasson, proche de la mer . Quelques moustiques, il est vrai comme sur toute la Côte Varoise. L'environnement de nos quatre villas ne semble pas gêner nos locataires qui viennent et reviennent chaque été depuis de nombreuses années (certains depuis 5 à 10 ans) en juillet et août pendant deux à trois semaines : ceci est certainement la meilleure preuve et la meilleure publicité que nous pouvons avoir. Un grand merci à nos locataires qui continuent à nous faire confiance et que toute l'équipe du Hameau de la Nicolinière reçoit toujours avec un triés grand plaisir. Jocelyne NICOLINI
