About Beth Riccio
My husband and I have been very lucky to live in a Victorian home in a beautiful seaport town that others would covet. We love the Historic District and it's charm. Bristol is centrally located to two major cities, Boston and Providence and yet remains very much a small town. Jim is one of the few who are considered 'Native' to Bristol. I on the other hand am a 'Wash Ashore', but couldn't love it more. I am a retired Culinary Arts Instructor and my husband is a Mechanical Foreman for the Rail road. We have 5 children and 11 grandchildren who love to come spend time here with us. We Have a sail boat and never leave Narragansett Bay but enjoys our quiet days on the water. The beaches of Newport are about twenty minutes away and we spend many summer days there with the kids. We have a winter residence in Myrtle Beach and enjoy the ocean there as well.
Beth Riccio purchased this House in 1978

Great historic home built in late 1800s, with wondeful hosts and clean 1BD apartment.
My husband, daughter and I stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding nearby. The July 4th festivities had already begun, with live music at the Bristol waterfront that could be heard from the cozy chairs on the front porch. Beth and her husband were lovely hosts and the apartment was clean, stocked with coffee for the morning and even popcorn for a late night movie. Slept very well in this relaxing home built in the late 1800s. THANKS!
It was a memorable stay
The hosts Beth and Jim were charming and welcoming and helpful. The apartment was very very nice and thensom, with beautiful furnishings and well equipped. We are already planning a return trip.
Enjoyed our stay, charming
Nice space, town is so cute. Can walk to every thing
Great time in Bristol! Comfy and convenient
This apartment was perfect. Just as pictured. We were two adults and had plenty of room. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and in good working order. Excellent location in the heart of Bristol. We walked to all of the best restaurants. Waterfront is just two blocks away. House and neighborhood were both very quiet. Beth and Jim were excellent hosts. Friendly, flexible, and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
Great location, very clean, and the owner's are great to work with. Highly recommend staying here.
Wonderful apartment in history filled town close to the water and dining!
Beth and Jim were marvelous and charming hosts who have a beautiful apartment complete with full kitchen and bath. Bristol is an amazing town with wonderful shops, a picturesque waterfront, w restaurants and coffee all within walking distance. The apartment itself is very spacious and quiet with plenty of room to spread out. In addition, there is a beautiful sitting area in the backyard with a fireplace table top that was perfect to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Beth helped us the first evening to find a spot to eat since we arrived so late which was very helpful. We really enjoyed talking with Beth and Jim and hearing about the history of the home and the historic district it is apart of. Loved our stay!
Located between Providence and Newport, RI, Bristol is a seaport destination known for sailing, antiquing and fine restaurants. A cozy historic town that is tourist friendly. It is a twenty minute ride to all that Newport and Providence have to offer, while staying in a small waterfront town. Many restaurants, bars and museums are within walking distance. Bristol is very much a sailors haven and well known for some very well known restaurants.
