The Brick Cottage - Cute, Clean, Comfortable and Convenient!

Bedrooms 2
Space 71 m²
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

2 Bedrooms / 1 Bath house in Lewis and Clark / Rose Park area

One of the most important things when traveling is having a clean, comfortable and convenient home-base and the cottage offers all three. The house is thoughtfully furnished and stocked with things needed to make our guest's vacations easy and relaxing while being within walking distance of downtown, the University, the neighborhood coffee shop and several parks. Further, an empty locking garage is available for guests to store their bikes, canoe, kayaks, etc.

Special attention has been paid to make the home family-friendly if you are traveling with kids; we want the house to have everything you need so you can bring just the essentials. A Pack and Play, high chair, toys, a forehead thermometer, family games and the ability to do laundry will go a long way toward making your vacation easy and relaxing so you can focus on having the best possible trip.

The cottage is centrally located and is close to everything. It is an easy 1.1 mile walk along tree-shaded sidewalks to downtown where there are dozens of wonderful restaurants and shops to explore. If you walk northeast 1.1 miles from the cottage, you can visit the University of Montana and all the cultural and sporting events it has to offer.

Caffe Dolce is the neighborhood restaurant 5 blocks from the cottage that offers coffee, pastries, meals and gelato. It is a delicious cafe a lovely walk away.

Lion's Park is 4 blocks away and offers play equipment, swings, picnic area and a splash deck which runs in the summer. One block north is Rose Park which offers 2 blocks of open space.

To acquaint yourself with the cottage, please review the pictures and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We want you to have a fantastic trip to Missoula and the cottage provides a perfect home-base for a relaxing and happy vacation.

(Please note daily housekeeping service is not offered at the cottage. However, cleaning supplies are available.)

About Stacey Bliss

My husband and I have lived in Montana for 20 years and we enjoy sharing what Missoula has to offer with out-of-town visitors. We purchased the cottage specifically for a vacation rental in the family-friendly Lewis and Clark / Rose Park neighborhoods, which is where we live.

We have had great experiences with all our guests and work hard to make sure the cottage is perfect. We do not charge a cleaning fee because our guests leave the house in good shape and we trust that will continue. Please read our reviews and do not hesitate to contact us any time if you need anything.

What makes this cottage unique

We have traveled quite a bit with our kids so we are familiar with what makes a good home-base when vacationing. We have stocked and furnished the cottage with families in mind, but it is comfortable for anyone. We know that a convenient, easy and comfortable place to stay helps make a great trip.

We couldn't be happier with our stay at The Brick Cottage. The cottage was in perfect condition and we felt as if we were the very first folks to ever stay there. Stacey was more than accommodating and kept in touch during our visit in case there was anything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

perfect little home

  • 4 of 5

I had a great time staying in this home with my husband and two kids on the way to Glacier. The house is in biking distance to a wonderful playground with water features and a zip line. It is also walking distance to fast food and there are several large stores nearby for supplies. It is a quick drive to downtown Missoula, which we also loved. I only gave it 4 stars because there was no AC in the bunk room, so the kids were warm, (there was a fan). Our AC was fine but a bit noisy.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your comments, especially about the A/C. I have thought about adding central air, but wondered how helpful it would be in such a small place. I will keep the options open! Thanks for staying, and I would love to have you back any time!

Perfection without a potato peeler is possible in this definitely cute property. Yes, it is rather small but has everything you could need, including basic household items like tea-towels, cleaners, and household paper goods. Kitchen is a tad small - but that's because it has everything but a dishwasher! The washing machine and dryer were a godsend; the beds are comfortable; the furniture good; parking is off-street (or in the garage). It is ideally situated for seeing the town of Missoula and the wonderful scenic places surrounding same. It is very close to a main thoroughfare for exiting the city via the I-90 to the north (for all points W, N and E) and US 93 to the south. All-in-all we enjoyed two great weeks here - try it, you'll like it!
