We celebrated our mom/ grandma’s 85th birthday in NOLA! Great trip, great memories!

  • 5 of 5

Our mom/ grandma’s request was to have all of us together rather than scattered in hotel rooms. We chose these two homes on the same property because of the number of private bedrooms available for our group of 15 adults. The house was great for our 4 night getaway and the owner was easy to work with. While we rented one car and ubered to other areas of town frequently, the location was excellent for nearby walks to St Charles and Magazine streets as well as Lafayette cemetery #1. We appreciated being in this beautiful neighborhood away from the buzz/ noise of the French Quarter or downtown. The homes are spacious and have that true NOLA historical vibe. Nice open front/ dining/ kitchen area for us to all hang out. Our family celebrates together frequently, but we all agreed this one of our favorite trips. The homes were a major factor.

This was a charming, well provisioned home in a great location

  • 5 of 5

This property was perfect for our group size which consisted of several couples, one with a baby. There was plenty of room and we really enjoyed this lovely, cozy home. The cottage in the back was particularly helpful for the couple with the baby. The kitchen was ample and well stocked with utensils, although we ate out most of the time. The location of the home was central to our visiting needs. We walked to Magazine Street and to St. Charles and getting into the French Quarter and other areas was easy. The owner was very warm and helpful which we really appreciated. I would recommend this wonderful house, especially for family groups.

Perfect for our wedding weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Had our wedding at Il Mercato, and needed a home away from home to get us and the wedding party ready. House was perfect. Neighbors were friendly. I would never have a wedding again, but if time repeated itself I would still be happy with the house.

15-person bachelorette weekend

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommend! A group of 15 of us stayed here over the weekend and we had such a great time! It was incredibly spacious and had enough bathrooms that 15 women were never fighting for space. :) It was also super well located - walking distance to Magazine Street, a block or two from the trolley, and Ubers only ever a few minutes away. There's a keyless entry and an alarm system so we felt very safe. There was also a liquor store and a Walgreen's a block or two away so it was really easy to stock up on amenities for the weekend. Also the host was so nice and super accomodating - our flights out were late (and then delayed!) and since no one was checking in until later she allowed us to have a late checkout. She also responds like lightning to text messages, and gave us some great recommendations of where to go in NOLA that turned out to be perfect for our group.

This was a fabulous rental with a tremendous host.

  • 5 of 5

This is a very nice house with lots of bedrooms, especially using the cottage as well as the main house. We had a large group and the accommodations were perfect. Lisa was also so helpful, from offering suggestions on restaurants to delivering some packages we had sent to her in advance, to responding immediately anytime some issue arose. The neighborhood is fabulous - close to the quarter, but removed, in a quiet part of the garden district, but also close to Magazine Street and to the St. Charles streetcar. The house was clean and spacious, the kitchen had modern appliances, and the patio between the house and the cottage was a great place to sit outside and have a glass of wine. I highly recommend this house!

This was the perfect house for us!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house and the house behind it for our large family who was in town for our daughter's wedding. It was wonderful. Plenty of room. Well appointed. We loved the front porch. The whole family spent evenings on the porch drinking wine and telling stories. Everyone who stayed here said it was the perfect house!
