Why Lori Paumen chose Annandale
It's all about location. We purchased this property because of the level lot, crystal clear water and fantastic natural sand beach. We wanted a cabin that would be great for the kids without having to go down a steep embankment to get to the beach. This cabin totally fit what we were looking for! Besides, who wants to waste time driving when you could be relaxing! Our cabin is approximately 75 minutes from the Twin Cities.

Had a great stay
Really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The weather was cool, but the lake is beautiful and the boating was fun. The kitchen is well stocked. Lori is helpful and easy going. One bathroom/shower encouraged cooperation between the 10 of us! The queen mattresses could be upgraded for more comfortable sleeping. So fun to have the family together again. Thanks for a great time!
The property was great!
We loved the spacious home right on the lake! Enjoyed the sandy bottom and the raft! We caught lots of fish, from out in our boat and off the dock! We would recommend this place to families and adults!!
Relaxation and Adventure
We had the most wonderful time! Lori and her son greeted us upon arrival and gave us all the information we needed. During our stay, it was fishing, boating, snorkeling, and canoeing to our hearts content. The lake is so clear and the fish bite like crazy right off the dock which kept the kids very busy. The sandy bottom of the lake makes it extra enjoyable. We were able to rents jet skis and a small ski boat (with a tube for the kids) from a man in the of the town of maple, nearby. When it was time for just relaxing, the lounge chairs by the lake made for the perfect spot to sip on a drink, breathe the air, and enjoy the deep silence of the lake. Also, the road on the peninsula is very lovely for jogging and walking. It was the first vacation that I have had in a long time that I didn't feel I needed to "recover" from. I came home rested and relaxed. Thank you for sharing your home with us, Lori.
Thank you Christine! We are happy you had a nice time and hope to see you again in the future!
All we wanted in a lake cabin
Our family and extended family had a very nice week. Close enough to the metro area that our relatives and friends could visit, yet with that up north feel. Loons, eagles, fish, outdoor games, sunsets, .... Owners did a nice job of prepping the cabin and property. Everything was in good condition. Cabin living space is large and warm rustic wood finish. Nice swimming beach area with raft and nice dock with bumpers worked well for our rented pontoon.
Thank you Lance for leaving the cabin spotless! We enjoyed having you!
Best place on the lake!!
What a wonderful place on the lake to spend the last week of summer vacation!! Stayed the end of August and enjoyed the cabin with ALL the amenities!! The cabin is exactly as pictured and included everything for a week of fun! Beautiful level lot for the kids to play on and a nice area to enjoy evening bonfires. The lake was crystal clear and we made good use of the raft, canoe and paddle boat!! We have rented on this lake before and this property has the BEST location with a level yard and large area to swim with a sandy bottom. Would love to come back again next year! Thanks Lori!
Perfect Family Vacation!
I truly can't say enough about this gem of a cabin! The cabin itself is very spacious and well stocked. Everything down to the life jackets, movies and games (including bean bag toss which is one of our favorites!). The beds were very comfy. The property itself is absolutely SPECTACULAR! It has a level backyard with a small beach and hard sandy bottom. It was absolutely perfect for kids! We had a ton of fun swimming, jumping off the raft, feeding the fish and going for paddle boat rides. Every night we took a swim while we watched the sun go down-some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen! The lake is crystal clear. It is so rare to find a lake this beautiful so close to the cities! Saturday morning we went to the Wright County Swappers Meet which was also super fun (think flea market, arts & crafts and food trucks)! What a memorable family vacation! Thanks to Lori for being so hospitable and for sharing her amazing place with us!
