We stayed at the cabin for Breeder’s Cup weekend to be a little outside of the city. This cabin was fantastic... every appointment beautiful, the scenery stupendous and the people lovely. It wasn’t hard to find but was very difficult to leave. I have already reserved another long weekend... can’t wait to go back!!!
My husband and I visited the farm for a weekend in October. I loved the cabin. It was beautiful, cozy and clean! Pretty views of the farm from all the windows. Relaxing! We enjoyed the horses and cows. We made a quick trip to Louisville and visited the Kentucky Derby Museum etc. My husband and I would love to return!
Relaxing and cozy .. cows and horses out the windows .. beautiful pond right out the front .. great
It was all set for us very clean and organized ! Close to two towns to get dinner or Starbucks ! Log cabin feel but modern kitchen plenty of room . Cable and WiFi .. the bedrooms very inviting and cutely decorated ! Bathroom big enough to share !
Beautiful cabin in a gorgeous, peaceful setting
Excellent, very cozy, quiet and relaxing
We did enjoy Charles cabin on the horse farm. The best experience ever. Loved to wake up every morning and sip our coffee in rocking chairs overlooking farm and pond. Evenings were relaxing as well, watching sky filled with stars and moon brightening all fields, listening to frogs, horses at night, sipping glass of wine, definitely took us away from normal living. We couldn’t ask for better getaway weekend. We loved inside cabin as well, and despite reading previous comments about cabin not having blinds in living room, I must say I did enjoy morning sun brightening every room. It was magic.
We were taking a lots of walks along the farm property, petting horses were the best activity my daughter could ask for. Even my husband who isn’t a big fan of horses and farm animals, did enjoy their presence and observing them every day while staying on the farm. We also loved the open space behind our cabin, and the fact that we could take our dog with us, was just perfect finishing for our trip. Definitely will be looking forward to come back soon.
Thank you sharing your beautiful farm. Our visit was outstanding and the cabin was a perfect fit for us after driving cross country from Western Montana. I was accompanied by a post 9-11 wounded veteran and it served as the perfect retreat for him as he visited nearby busy attractions such as Churchill Downs and the Woodford Distillery. The owners were very kind and courteous to all our needs. There bass KY fishing was fun too! We hope to revisit again in the near future. Thank you!
