About bill boesch

I am a custom furniture and cabinetmaker. My wife is a school teacher. We have been married over thirty years and have split our time between making a living in New Orleans and enjoying 'The Bay'.

bill boesch purchased this cottage in 2007

Why bill boesch chose Bay Saint Louis

Our original home stood here before being destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. We have many memories of the laid back times we shared there. We are close to everything happening and yet at night can walk our quiet neighborhood down to the bay.

Awesome, as usual!

  • 5 of 5

I’m from Bay St. Louis, and we were in town for Pirate Day in the Bay. We had friends from WY meet us there, and they had a ball too. We’ve stayed in this house 5 times over the years. It’s always been great! Bill is an awesome owner.

Returning Home

  • 5 of 5

Revisiting this beautiful cottage in a quiet, lovely setting is so very wonderful. We have been frequent temporary residents over the past several years. It is always a truly great vacation experience. It is like entering your second home with all the amenities that you could ever want or need. It is so spotlessly clean with all the modern, up to date conveniences possible. The owner is so very attentive to any needs and is extremely accommodating. We are always looking forward to our next visit even before we have to leave. We cannot say enough about this wonderful getaway. Rick & Paula Golding, Rutledge, Tennessee

Fantastic! Does not get better than this!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay in Bay Saint Louis MS. The cottage was immaculate, well stocked, and the furnishings were outstanding. The antiques and other touches made this feel like home. We have been using VRBO to book vacations for many years but this trip stands out as a unforgettable memory. Close to everywhere and the owners are wonderful! Thank you again Bill, and we hope to return soon. P.S. The puppies loved it too!

A wonderful week in a wonderful place!

  • 5 of 5

I had wanted to return to Bay St. Louis for some time. I had visited the area with my mother as her best friend lived on Beach Blvd. This lovely home was convenient to Beach Blvd., downtown BSL and easy access to NOLA, Biloxi, Gulfport, Waveland, and Stennis. Despite my terminal illness we were able to make the stay comfortable for me as the home was on one level. The evenings were the best as it was so peaceful. My husband would walk through the neighborhood. Residents were very friendly. Great weather for our stay. Bed was comfortable, living area and kitchen were very convenient and useful. We had our little dogs with us and they did well too! The birds were wonderful to listen to. The frogs were singing in the evenings. Nice shade for parking. Although I will no longer be able to visit again I am sure my husband will go back. He truly loved his stay. We enjoyed eating at Shaggy's at Pass Christian and had the Red Royal shrimp. Enjoyed our day in New Orleans where my husband was born. Visited the gravesite of family members at Cypress Cemetery. Loved everything about our trip and our visit to your home. Bless you for sharing it with us.

Beautiful and peaceful location! The perfect place to getaway.

  • 5 of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this home. The owners thought of everything you could possibly need. The location is a short walk to the bay which was a great route to take my dog for a walk. It is also 5 minutes from downtown so you are never far from the shops or dining out. I cant wait to visit again!

awesome stay

  • 5 of 5

Amazing stay. I thought about writing a bad review so BSL rental would still be available for next year but could not tell a lie. We loved the house and were debating about how far we would get in the U Haul with the wonderful furniture. Decided against theft, for now. Love the house, love BSL and the area. It is a great location and we spent our days looking at antiques. We will definitely try to return, good Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Charlie and Carolyn Tice from Michigan.
