About Greg Sharp - Owner/Manager

We are committed to providing a perfect getaway for those looking for quality accommodations in the serenity and seclusion of God's creation.

I am a lifelong student of theology and eschatology and look for unique ways to retreat from the congestion of life's demands and noises to listen for God's voice. There is no question, this is one of those special places.

Greg Sharp - Owner/Manager purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Greg Sharp - Owner/Manager chose Blue Ridge

The view!!! Unlike most cabins in the Blue Ridge Area, this touch of paradise sits atop a private mountain on the Fannin and Gilmer County line and only traveled by locals. It is very private and enjoys the prominent west elevation overlooking

the Chattahoochee National Forrest and Cohutta Wilderness.

What makes this cabin unique

The Cohutta Wilderness is filled with world class hiking trails which is minutes away from the cabin. Approximately 30 minutes to the southeast is the famous and beautiful Amicalola Falls State Park and 10 minutes further, trace the footsteps of the early Georgia pioneers and settlers at Springer Mountain, the southern most point of the Appalachian Trail.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Comments: We wanted to be away from it all and this cabin delivers that! The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained. We loved the peace and quiet you can find here. Watching the sunset every evening was a highlight of the trip. Thanks for opening your cabin to us. God Bless

What we did: We hiked to Fall Branch Falls, Long Creek Falls & Springer Mountain. Did some shopping in Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Sat on the back porch & watched the sunset every evening.

Favorite moments: Seeing a black bear in Amicalola Falls State Park. Watching a mam rabbit feed her babies right outside the cabin!

Meticulously maintained cabin, in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

Every morning one awakes to a new weather adventure, served up by the great unknown. The views and the silence are spectacular. The people in the area are very nice. The owner was very responsive, and Cindy who helped with professional cleaning services was very kind. Highly recommend this entire experience.
