We live in KY, right outside of Cincinnati, OH. We own 2 homes in Hilton Head that are professionally maintained and supervised. We provide what we'd want in our home to be comfortable. We feature multiple refrigerators and a fully stocked kitchen. You have access to our 2 car garage for your convenience. We're happy to provide a list of favorite restaurants and things to do.

Sea Pines is just a great place for family and couple vacations. We love being able to bike to Harbour Town and South Beach on the bike paths. The nature preserve is an undiscovered gem. The golf courses are beautiful and challenging.

Our home is pet-friendly and located on the beach side of Sea Pines Drive, with no streets to cross to get to the beach. It is located only 1 mile from Harbour Town or South Beach. We heat the hot tub heat for free.

Great location But I wouldn’t go back!
This property needs to be updated and cleaned. Poorly appointed with not nearly enough supplies for the number of beds. Lots of rotten and moldy boards in back by the pool but pool was fine although hot tub very dirty when we arrived. It was cleaned 2 days later. Grill didn’t work and needs to be replaced. The ignighters are shot so it was suggested to just light it with lighter stick.Which didn’t work! We bought a new light stick the next day. Did I mention a few piles of poop around the pool area? They also were cleaned up two days later. Obviously someone had a very large dog and didn’t pick up. It’s a dark house and desperately needs renovation. Nothing extra was supplied as far as beach toys or pool toys, noodles, etc. Like I said, it’s a fine location but we won’t go back!
Since Jane lives in Sea Pines and looked at our home before reserving it for her children, we're perplexed why she would book it if she didn't like it. Our pictures of our home are accurate. Our home is not a newly built "Homearama" home. It is a very nicely decorated home done in warm colors and with flat-screen HD TVs. We provide everything needed to prepare a holiday dinner or a low country boil. Most people love our home and we get many repeat guests.
We heard nothing from Jane about any housekeeping issues. We have a professional housekeeping service that we've used for the last 8 years. They do a great job. If they miss anything, they are quick to respond and correct any issue.
Our handyman (Nick) goes to our home every week to maintain our home in addition to any break-fix type issues. There are no rotten or moldy boards. Our grill is brand new this summer. We don't know why the igniter didn't work, but he responded and fixed it. As a backup, we always leave a couple of lighter sticks in the kitchen. Also, the prior guest did miss picking up after their dog in one spot, and Nick missed it on his Saturday visit. He cleaned that up for them as well. Interestingly enough, Jane left 3 bags from her dog in our landscaping in the front.
Our pool service comes twice a week, Saturday and Wednesday. They cleaned it later in the day on Saturday, so it was clean for Jane's stay. The spa gets dirty quickly if people use it without rinsing off first. Sunscreen and sand take will quickly wreck the water quality in a free-standing spa.
We do not advertise that we provide beach or pool toys. But by mid-June, there are beach chairs, beach toys, noodles, etc. left in abundance by guests.
We work hard to provide everything and to maintain our home so that you have the best vacation possible. Few homes get weekly maintenance like our home does. If you know Sea Pines, you know that foliage and pine needles fall 365 days a year. We provide a battery-operated blower so that guests can easily blow off around the pool area and decks. Please see our many positive reviews and our pictures and judge for yourself.

Location and lots of space!
Jim & Carla were a delight to work with. Checking and rechecking to insure we had all things in place for the trip. Very nice people.
The home had plenty of space for our 2 small families (8 total). The foosball table was a hit for the kids! Although it was a little chilly the first day the kids stayed the hot tub and out the house. LOL
To the right of the house is a paved path between the homes that'll take you 100 yards directly to the beach. You can easily haul all the beach stuff and in a wagon. Since you are in a neighborhood, you don't have the crowds on the beach. Nice and quite with plenty of beach even at high tide.
The house was well appointed with plenty of furniture so everyone has a place to sit and read/relax. Two wide screen TVs, one in main living area and other just off the kitchen area, Which was a plus, because part on the family could watch TV but also be part of the kitchen activities and talk. The kitchen is open to part of the house so you don't feel closed off. The kitchen hardware was adequate. I'd like to have seen; full size sheet pans, griddle for pancakes/bacon, whisks, straight edge carving knives and skillets larger than 10". The serrated knives in the wood block can't cut meats cleanly. We made do but with 2 families it was more of a challenge cooking for 8+ people at one time. All the above "upgrades" would be inexpensive solutions. The two ovens, one with convection, was a wonderful addition and really helped in the food prep! Lots of counter space in the kitchen. The second refrigerator is a huge plus to store all the drinks and big items.
Bedrooms were large with lots of room to walk around. All mattresses were comfortable and no complaints from anyone. You have plenty of room for luggage and the masters even seating areas to read. Having two Master bedrooms is nice for two sets of parents. Note that the second master bedroom is over the garage and away from the other bedrooms. We saw this as a plus for privacy and light sleepers. Also this bedroom has 6 steps up to get to, off the kitchen. I'm noting this for any mobile challenged people like grandparents or disable. Both master bedrooms are huge with their own private bathrooms.
Jim & Carla were very thoughtful to supply additional beach items and two bikes in the garage for the family vacation.
Jim & Carla's home was very well rounded. And not lacking in any area. We'll be back. And I'm sure you'll enjoy your time was well on your next vacation.
Thank you for your great review. We agree with you about the kitchen/den room. It is our favorite room as you can have the TV on and still be part of the action in the kitchen. The kitchen is always the gathering spot.
We're order those replacement kitchen items immediately. All of the pans get scratched/damaged and have to be replaced pretty regularly. And things go missing all the time, where we can only speculate (beach toys? fishing accessory?).
The dedicated beach walkway provides easy access to the beach and safety for the children as there are no streets to cross.

We've rented many places, been disappointed many times, but this is what I always hope for. To walk into the house and go "Wow". Every need is addressed. All on one floor and the layout is wonderful. Use of a garage is a real bonus.
Now we can just relax and enjoy without out worrying that I wish it had this or I wish it had that. It's all here! No stress.
