Family reunion
AC died in upstairs last night. We were down to only needing 3 bedrooms which were downstairs. Overall a very charming house.
Pelican Bay
The property manager was fantastic. The design of the home worked well for our family, though we would have preferred fewer stairs. There was ample space, with beautiful porches, and little nooks for privacy. Renting golf carts was essential for us. Access to the pool was a great bonus. We just wish the home had been cleaner when we arrived.

Comfortable Stay for 5 Adults, a Child and a Dog
This house met our needs. Having 3 full baths meant that each family had their own space. We also liked the design of the house with three bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs. Having a laundry was a nice convenience. At night, the front screen in porch was lovely for enjoying the sunset and breezes from the water.
There were two things we did not enjoy about this house which explains the 3-star rating. First, two of the four bedrooms had old mattresses that were so indented with use as to be uncomfortable for sleeping. The second was cleanliness. Surface cleaning - dusting, vacuuming, etc is done between renters each week. But this house was in need of a deep clean, especially in the kitchen. There was quite a bit of dust along the walls, on top of the fridge, on the shelf in the laundry area. Floor tile and tub tile grout needed cleaned in the bathrooms. Kitchen doors and hardware were sticky, and cabinets needed wiped down inside. We brought cleaning supplies with us and did a once over where we needed to for the week, but the house needs deep cleaned.
Great location
Large home with all you need. Walk to pool and beach. Quiet and private. Would stay again. Close to Charleston and historical sites within reasonable driving time.

Great location, very nicely decorated. The porch is awesome. But you do need to be ready for steps.
