About Owner
I am retired chemical engineer. My wife's name is Cristy. We live in the near-by town of Guaynabo,but we come to the area frequently , normally every week-end since we own another unit.We are basically available all the time to answer questions.

Why Owner chose Dorado del Mar
We first bought in 2002 because of the proximity of Dorado to San Juan, so it only takes us 25 minutes to get home. At the same time, we were looking for a beach house directly on the beach, where you could walk and not have to take a car to the beach. We had several friends who also owned villas here, we had visited many times and knew of the well-kept grounds and peacefullness of the site.
What makes this Condo unique
When we first bought the apartmnent, I was stil working and this place provided the ideal site for decompressing during week-ends. Once we are here, we normally walk on the beach or along the golf courses, which provides a very enjoyable execise time.I enjoy listening to the sound of the waves as they reach the beach and read a book. We enjoy the beach and I have learned to cook for family and friends during the week end.

Great Place!
The photos are exact. Jorge's place is roomy and has a great view. We spent lots of time on the "porch" with 8-10 people grilling and visiting. You can walk right out to the beach. The beach was beautiful but limited and a bit rocky. However, you can drive 5 minutes to a fantastic beach with lots of indoor/outdoor cantinas right on the ocean. You can't go wrong with this choice. A relatively quick drive to the airport (1/2 hour) and there's plenty of shops outside the compound, including Walgreen's and a super market.
Fabulous for families
Lots of room, great kitchen, wonderful views. Had hair dryers, washer/dryer, dishwasher, toaster, sunscreen, kindness, and warmth. Close to everything. Wonderful and happy visit!
Perfect Setting!
This property was idyllic. The townhouse is spacious, comfortable, and well supplied. It is located within steps of a perfectly adequate beach and close to the Embassy Suites with access to those offerings.
My husband and I went with our son and 2 grandchildren ages 6 and 9. It was their first trip to Puerto Rico to meet my family. We loved the proximity of Dorado to the San Juan metropolitan area. The house was a stone's throw to all kinds of stores including groceries, first aid, restaurants, and resources.
Jorge, the owner was always a phone call away. At the end we reported a couple of minor issues to which he expressed gratitude for informing him. He takes excellent care of his place.
Last but not least, Villas de Playa 1 is an ideal area and this house is tops on the list...the views, the proximity and access to the beach, and how the house is furnished and supplied will make your stay idyllic.

Very nice and great location
It was a great location with beautiful views , we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend to others. It was close to
beaches with big waves and horseback riding so the entire family was happy.
We LOVED it!!!
We loved everything about this place! The neighborhood and the neighbors were awesome. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and to the Rockefeller Nature Trail. We kept the large doors open on the first floor most of the time. I took some beautiful pictures of the sunset and even a beautiful rainbow over the ocean one of the days from the master bedroom deck. Jorge and Cristy met us when we arrived. The unit was clean and well stocked. We had no problems at all. We enjoyed the pool and the beach every day. We will definitely stay again!
