If Andorra is known as the Pyrenean Country, Grandvalira is the snow capital. This is the largest ski area of Pyrenees with 210 km of slopes. Its privileged geographical location ensures good snow conditions and a very high percentage of sunny days all year long. Grandvalira is a European dimension ski area.

Grandvalira is located to the North of the Principality of Andorra near the French border. This ski area belongs to 2 of the 7 Andorran parishes: Encamp and Canillo. It boasts of 6 different access all located along the Valira d’Orient River: Encamp (Funicamp), Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa.

Encamp is, after Canillo, the oldest of the 7 Andorran parishes. With its beautiful church with original Roman bell tower, Encamp is located 1266 m in altitude in the Oriental Valira Valley and in the geographical centre of the Principality. In summer, Encamp is the starting point for beautiful and multiple mountain hikes by the high-altitude lakes.

In winter, Encamp is the starting point of “Funicamp” which is a splendid and modern cable car leading to the slopes of Grandvalira.

Residence “La Llenguadera” built around 2000s is designed on an architectural mountain, modern and comfortable basis. This is a good quality apartment located on the 2nd floor. It is suitable for persons who care about the respect of the offered services and equipment at their disposal.

Best stay in Andorra ever

Staying from Dec 22, 2013 till Jan 5, 2014 with little baby. We'd been to Encamp 3 times and this place we consider as favorite. So comfortable and cosy apartment. Amazing view on Encamp mountain valley from bedroom window and balcony. Every room is clean and fully equipped with whatever you need. Basement garage for two parking places. Just 10 min walk from Encamp center and supermarket. The landlord (Michel) and his helpmates (Carme and Toni) were extremely kind, helpful and delicate. We had some problems with wifi connection, everything was fixed up in the shortest time. Highly recommend this apartment.

EXCELLENT SEJOUR

Nous avons passé des vacances merveilleuses. L'appartement est spacieux, très bien équipé, et avec une superbe vue sur Encamp. On peut avoir accès à proximité à des commerces, un parc pour enfants, une piscine, des ballades abordables même pour les débutants ou des grandes randonnées. Nous avons pu prendre le bus facilement, afin de nous rendre à Andorre-la-vieille, pour ne pas se soucier du stationnement en ville. Je recommande cet appartement, situé dans un quartier calme et propre, à toutes les personnes qui ont besoin de l'air pur de la montagne.

Concernant la télévision, un branchement usb aurait été possible à partir des équipements annexes reliés au téléviseur mais non activés (lecteurs cd, disquettes notamment). Très belle location

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cet appartement tout à fait conforme au descriptif. Le logement est très propre, fonctionnel et confortable. C'était bien pratique de profiter de deux emplacements de parking en sous-sol. La résidence est très calme. Nous avons regretté l’absence de petits sièges pour profiter pleinement du balcon. Nous recommandons sans réserve cette location.
