About Sharon George

We live in Paso Robles and just love this town and the surrounding central coast cities. Buying and restoring Sixteen Olives gives us the opportunity to share our community with others. We truly hope you will enjoy every moment of your stay and come back and visit often.

Sharon George purchased this house in 2013

Why Sharon George chose Paso Robles

We just fell in love with this classic 1924 California Craftsman Bungalow sitting on a quiet corner with the inviting front porch and just a few short blocks from downtown.

What makes this house unique

Location on a shaded corner lot, ambiance, front porch, many original architectural details intact including hardwood( albeit squeaky) floors , built-ins, crown molding and more.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Sharon was a fantastic host. When she met us to give us the keys she was extremely accommodating with our hectic timing. The house was beautiful. It had everything one could need to stay there for an extended trip, without being cluttered or messy. The house was in lovely condition. The beds were extremely comfortable. This is the standard I wish for all rentals when I travel.

Wonderful home, great location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a few nights and wished it was longer! This is our new favorite spot to stay in Paso Robles. Very clean with modern features in a well appointed cottage. The owner's welcome was warm and wonderful. Only a few blocks walk to downtown. Great neighborhood. Loved relaxing with a glass of wine on the porch in the evenings. Even cooked a meal at the house one night. It was perfect!

Comfortable home perfect for wine tasting retreat

  • 5 of 5

Sharon was a wonderful host. The house was well stocked including kitchen. It made it very easy to cook dinner at home nightly. The beds were comfortable and the restrooms spacious. It was the perfect home for me, my husband and another couple with a small child. We will definitely consider this home again if we travel to Paso Robles for wine tasting!

A wonderful find near the center of a fine town

  • 5 of 5

Four of us who travel widely shared this house (16 Olives) in Paso Robles for a week including Christmas 2017. During the past few years, my wife and I, along with friends, have rented 55 houses or apartments in eight countries. We rate this as one of the top four in terms of comfort and completeness of furnishings, supplies and kitchen equipment necessary for cooking, one of our hobbies. The other three houses were in Portugal, Walla Walla,, Washington and Dallas, Texas. Moreover, when considering all houses we have rented, 16 Olives may be the most convenient location to shopping and restaurants. You will not be disappointed should you rent this house. Congratulations to Susan for her thoughtful and thorough preparations! We hope to return.
