Aah. Spring and summer at the beautiful, best on the beach Edgewater Beach Resort. My golf villa is open starting April 13 through May 9 and I’d love to have your family as my guests. My housekeeper will be cleaning with all the products that have been recommended by the experts on Covid-19. Of course guests should use precautions just as they would at home ... social distancing, using hand sanitizers, and washing hands frequently. Clorox disinfectant will be available in my golf villa for guests’ use.

My rates are competitive with all the 2-BR villas at EBR (and much less than many). Please note that although my rates are only shown as DAILY rates, I also have full weekly rates. A $50 registration/resort fee has been established by the resort which will have to paid by each guest in order to obtain a parking pass. Instructions will be given as to how to fill out the form and pay by credit card.

Golf Villa 1901 is a bright and beautifully furnished deluxe end unit (larger than interior units), with almost 1300 sq. ft. of living space. Our villa sleeps six, with a king bed in the master and two queens in the guest room. (We also have a fold out sofa bed if there are 8 guests.) We have furnished our villa in tropical décor with all the comforts of home, including flat screen tvs in the living room and both bedrooms. A pond with a lighted fountain is just outside the back door where you can sit on the patio and observe the golfers across the pond try to sink that putt on the 4th green of our 9-hole, Par 3 golf course. The kids will love watching the turtles in the pond, who quickly pop their heads up looking to be fed. We also have a family of ducks living on our pond who also lime to be fed.

A short walk through the resort and across the private pedestrian bridge brings you to our wonderful 11,000 sq. ft. Lagoon Pool with palm trees, islands, waterfalls, two hot tubs, as well as plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing, sunning, and listening to live entertainment provided during spring, summer and fall. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rental on the beach in front of ERB's three condo towers. If you prefer, a tram runs regularly to and from the beach and the villas during busy season, tram stop at the end of our building, and can be called to our door during other months. Or, you can drive over and park in front of the towers. Enjoy casual meals at the Oceans Bar and Grill which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, inside or outside on the patio. You can also enjoy tropical drinks from an outside window at Oceans. Paradise Pizza can also be found on the pool deck. Eddie’s Market offers Starbucks Coffee, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and ice cream, along with a variety of gifts and clothing. A children’s splash pad is located adjacent to the Lagoon Pool.

This luxurious full-service resort is the only one of its kind in Panama City Beach, and is rated in the top 100 resorts in the world. Its amazing accommodations both on and off the beach -- championship golf to tennis and spa -- set the stage for a beach experience like no other. The villa side of the resort boasts a challenging nine-hole Par 3 golf course, several pools, lighted tennis courts, pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, fully equipped fitness center, pro shop and conference center.

In addition to our Executive Par Three Golf Course inside the resort, there are many other 18-hole golf courses nearby. Restaurants, ice cream parlor, entertainment complex (sports bar, video games, skating, bowling, etc.) is across the street at the Shoppes of Edgewater along with several restaurants … American Charlie’s, Dee’s Hangout, Firefly, and a couple more. Believe it or Not is nearby as well as Wonder World. A Publix Supermarket and several other shops and cafes are two blocks away. Pier Park, a multi-use facility, is just down the road with 150 shops and restaurants and a multi-theatre cinema. Pier Park North is right across the street from the original Pier Park and features many more new stores and restaurants. Kids young and old will enjoy Shipwreck Island Water Park right around the corner, and Gulf World Marine Park (swim with the dolphins if you like, or just enjoy the show) is just a short distance away. So much to do --so little time. Of course, if you're like me, it's enough to just hang out at the pool or beach.

Panama City Beach's slogan -- 'The World's Most Beautiful Beaches' -- may seem boastful, but St.Andrews State Park has been voted as having 1 of the top 25 beaches in the US. This year, 2023, PCB has been voted the second best beach in the country. Other than Spring Break time in late March and early April, the atmosphere is more relaxed and geared toward families. There are numerous amusement parks along the 20-plus miles of shoreline, as well as too many great seafood restaurants to count.

So save money (check out my rates compared to renting through various rental companies, and from other owners) while enjoying the comforts of home in Susan's Deluxe Golf Villa. Enjoy the Lagoon Pool and the beach, then come back to our villa where it's nice, quiet, and relaxing.

We have a new television and Wi-Fi system called LuxSpeed. Directions for use are found in the villa. The resort has recently switched to Directv for all units rather than the LuxSpeed Real Choice TV.
