Make The Cove on Angel Point, your ultimate Montana vacation destination. This is an idyllic piece of paradise in Lakeside MT that is perfect for any season. You will enjoy spectacular views overlooking our 274 feet of private, prime lakefront frontage with two docks. Take notice of our resident bald eagles as they soar overhead before landing in their nest up above the cove.
The town of Lakeside is just 4 miles away and has everything you need to stock the shelves, as well as great restaurants, breweries, and shopping.
The spring and fall are some of the best times to visit Montana. The temperatures are warm during the day, 50-60 degrees, and “jacket temperature” cool, 30 – 40 degrees at night. The spring seems as though 'green' is everywhere and the fall, when the Tamarack's start to turn yellow, is just gorgeous. During both times of year there is a quieter and more relaxing feeling in the air. No matter what time of year – Montana is always worth the trip.
Summer is when Montana is in high gear, the energy is contagious, the water of the lakes and streams take on a refreshing charm and invite you to surround yourself in their clean, cold, and invigorating essence. All the area’s activities are at their peak and the Flathead Valley is busting at the seams with fun. Montana is alive and you can feel it everywhere – great time to be here.
At Angel Point you are within close proximity to all that the Flathead Valley and beyond has to offer with fine dining, great shopping, fun nightlife, white water rafting, zip lining, golfing, hiking, fishing and boating in the summer. If your preference is the arts and shopping, then head over to Bigfork to take in their many galleries and gift shops. You can also enjoy several live performances there at their Playhouse that runs throughout the summer months.
Let’s not forget the “Crown of the Continent” – Glacier National Park. Just a short and very scenic hour drive away “The Park” is a must see and don’t forget your hiking shoes and your camera – everyone is a photographer when you get into The Park – you can’t take a bad picture.
As a blanket of snow covers the valley - the valley is alive with a crisp clear sense of beauty. In the winter enjoy skiing, cross country skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and snow shoeing. And, of course the incredible view of the snow capped Mission Mountains out of the floor to ceiling picture windows.
This property has it all - a 1,200 sq. ft. stone patio with a 6 seat hot tub overlooking the cove and a built-in gas grill for your barbequing needs. Sleeping accommodations include a main house with a master and 2 en-suite guest bedrooms, and a sleeping loft with two blow up mattresses for kids.
In addition we completed construction in 2014 of a 3 bedroom gust house on the property that would sleep 6 as well. Each bedroom in the guest house has an en suite full bathroom.
The main house is a stunning custom hand hewn log structure built with over 120 tons of Montana stone that is lakefront and sits up overlooking the cove. This 3 bedroom home with sleeping loft is 3340 square feet with expansive floor to ceiling picture windows which allow for panoramic views of Flathead Lake and the Swan and Mission Mountain Ranges. It has a Master Suite on the upper floor with a veranda overlooking Flathead Lake. There is an additional 2 en suite bedrooms on the lower floor. The living area is wide open with expansive windows to enjoys the views of the Lake which is just steps away from the main entrance. Sit back and relax - this house is completely controlled by a SmartPad.
After a long day enjoying all that the area and the property has to offer. For example retire to the Master Suite of the main house. In the summer, before you jump into your very cozy king bed, open the copper clad accordion doors to the private screened-in porch to feel the cool breezes and listen to the sounds coming off the lake.
The master bath is really a “master” bath and has a negative edge healing spa bathtub, and a separate absolutely incredible shower and steam room.
The house also has two identical bedrooms on either side of the upper floor. Each offers high vaulted ceilings with exposed log truss work, a king sized bed, fireplaces with split log mantles, spectacular Montana chinking, private baths with Rohl plumbing, a walk in closet, and a private walk out porch with magnificent views of the lake and mountains.
If you have the need to get some work done you can of course anywhere in the house with the wi-fi, however wait until you see the office – you will want to work at the custom desk and comfy leather chair overlooking the cove. Fax and printer are available.
When it is time to relax and have some fun head on into the Game Room. The game room features a standard pool table, hand-played wooden shuffleboard table and a fully stocked poker table with comfy leather chairs. Not up for fun and games? Chill out on the over-stuffed L-shaped leather sofa and watch movies or Dish TV on the flat screen television.
If you have extra little ones along there is an escape loft above the game room with a custom steel ladder. The loft has 2 full sized blow-up mattresses and linens. It’s a fun get-away for the kids.
For those staying in the Guest House they will enjoy stunning views as that house is right on the shore of the Lake.
