Shotgun Cabin is a charming and rustic cabin on a heavily wooded lot with beautiful and tall pine trees. This cabin is great for smaller groups or families who are looking for a quiet place to relax after a long day of exploring Yellowstone Park. Being only 40 minutes from the West entrance of Yellowstone this property makes a great home base for your mountain vacation. Shotgun has two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each room and two full size bathrooms. The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities of home to make home cooked meals while on vacation.

Also included is a comfortable living room with a gas fireplace and shared bathroom with a shower. Upstairs in the loft are two queen beds and a futon with satellite TV. Both bedrooms are on the upper level giving each one a beautiful view of the forest. Also upstairs is a full size bathroom with a walk in shower. Bring your own firewood as we have an outdoor fire pit to gather around for stories and yummy s'mores! Shotgun Cabin is short 10 minute drive to the Island Park Reservoir or 15 minute drive to the popular scenic site Johnny Sacks Cabin & Henry's Fork of the Snake River/Big Springs.

Anniversary Vacation

The cabin was perfect for us, very clean and modern. We had everything we needed for our stay. The only downfall we found was the cover to the hot tub was hard to manage, maybe didn’t know how to work it properly, but there didn’t seem to be enough room around it for us to move it easily. It was very nice though once we got it off, we were there during the Harvest Moon, it was beautiful!

Beautiful cabin

We loved our stay in the Shotgun Cabin! So beautiful and cozy! It had everything we needed. Gorgeous surroundings, nestled into the trees. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, too! Great location for West Yellowstone!

Great for Yellowstone vacation

The cabin was lovely! We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub! The beds were comfortable and cabin was clean. The kitchen did not have any black pepper at the time of our stay and I would recommend restocking that. They have people wash their own dishes before leaving, but whoever stayed before us did an obviously poor job at that. We had to wash everything we needed to use in the kitchen before using as there was food stuck to almost everything when we arrived. Would have hope the management company would have checked the dishes from previous renter. Overall a great stay, the cabin had everything we needed and enjoyed our time.
