This beach house has it all - including a fantastic location. Lots of space for our family of four. Very clean and well kept. Big kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out. Easy walk to the beach and Washington Mall shops and restaurants. Two porch areas to relax. Parking included - which is a real plus in Cape May. The property owner, Steve, was very helpful and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Location A+ ...But Kitchen Small and Unstocked.

There is a lot to like about this house. The location was top notch. The bathrooms were nice. The beds were so comfortable and if you never want to use your car while you are there, it is great to have an off-street parking spot. I have to say though, I was very disappointed with the kitchen. We were a group of six women and we were only there for 3 nights. If I had booked for an entire week, I would have been really upset. Here is why. The kitchen was not stocked for cooking. The stove is very old. So old that you couldn't even see what burner went with what knob. One burner didn't even work and the others were very uneven. There were very few supplies in the kitchen. If you plan on cooking a big meal, bring your own pots and pans. Silverware was in short supply too. We had to wash the forks after dinner so we could use them for dessert. The dishwasher top rack was also broken and could not hold a load of dishes. There just was very little of everything...short supply of dishes, plastic storage, serving trays, pots and pans and utensils. In fact, most of the cupboards were empty. If you go to the beach and eat out every night then this is a great place but if you want to prepare lunches or dinners, be prepared to be frustrated. Upon arrival, I had to wash off all the chairs on the porch as they were so covered with pollen that you couldn't sit on them. One last thing...it is near impossible to get out of the parking spot once you are in it. You will have to back out into traffic because the spot is so tight that you can not turn around. It took us about 5 minutes + just to get the car out of the parking spot. Again, if you don't plan on using your car to go places then it is great to have it secured in the parking spot but if you have a big vehicle and need to get it out, plan ahead. We had a good time but the house needs some TLC, The refrigerator is uneven and the door closes on you, the blinds on the doors are broken and the kitchen cupboards are in need of fine-tuning. I did let the While I did reach out to the owner about some of the broken things and he did offer to come take a look , but I think these are things that should have been taken care of before renters arrive.

Great house! The location was perfect. The "neighbors" upstairs were friendly and we looked out for each other. Loved the dining room/seat window (i'm a reader). No complaints at all. The rooms downstairs were great though i didn't know why the TV room didn't have seats (not important as we didn't need that TV). We would definitely stay there again if we were welcome!

Beautiful home in the heart of cape may! We love this town, never disappoints! Great showers, new basement bedrooms which were cool and quiet. Perfect location on Jackson street with 2 great porches. Nice storage area for beach chairs, bikes, etc. we loved it!

Second great vacation at this property!

We stayed the week of 7/29 to 8/5. The property had been renovated since last year to finish off the basement which added two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a walk in shower. The two off street parking spaces are key. We love the location since you can park the cars and walk everywhere. You are half a block to the beach and half a block to the center of town. Jackson Street is a great location. We can't wait to come back!

Loved location and home was comfortable

Owners were very thorough with instructions & although bedrooms were not as specified in contract it worked out perfectly...

Parking on property was awesome

Last year we rented a home where a/c was not sufficient to cool entire house; 34 Jackson was perfect!
