Very, very nice.

  • 5 of 5

This is a very comfortable and well designed casita. The furniture is comfortable and everything is well labeled and easy to find. It is large for a one bedroom unit and the patios are a real treat. It is also very quiet. It is not really walkable to downtown (unless you are more energetic than we are!) but a short and easy drive to the Plaza and other attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious and well appointed

  • 5 of 5

This casita has more than enough room for two and has everything you could possibly need for your stay from coffee and tea to bandaids and body lotion. Barbara has labeled all the light switches and left helpful instructions in a large binder which also includes restaurant and sightseeing tips. If any of your questions are not answered there she quickly responds to texts. It is a bit of a walk to the main plaza (20 min) which we didn’t mind since we like the extra bit of exercise but may be something to consider if you are hoping to be right in town. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and private setting. Breakfast on the lovely outdoor patio was a wonderful way to start the day.

Comfort, Adobe Style and Great Location

  • 5 of 5

This casita is a great value for travelers to the Santa Fe, NM area. The home is well appointed with regional furnishings and decor pieces. We felt right at home as soon as we entered. Its location in the Guadalupe neighborhood is very close to the Railyard (if you plan on riding the commuter train, the Rail Runner, between Albuquerque and Santa Fe) and within a reasonable walking distance into the center of Santa Fe. We lacked nothing at this casita during our stay. It is close to restaurants, coffee shops, day spas, and the quintessential Santa Fe shopping boutiques and art galleries.

We definitely recommend this comfortable casita for travelers wanting to create their own set of special memories in this delightful southwestern region.

Very clean, cozy, and relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Barbara’s casita! Our first trip to Santa Fe for my husband’s bday. The casita is perfectly clean and comfortable! We especially enjoyed to sound system and opening the doors to let the fresh air in! Would highly recommend!

Comfortable gem in Santa Fe

  • 5 of 5

We spent five days at Casita De Soledad in April. My wife and I loved everything about this place. First, the casita is beautiful, well appointed and in excellent condition. The pictures on VRBO, while enticing, don't fully capture the warmth and spaciousness of the casita. Everything was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Everywhere you look, there are thoughtful touches like abundant well placed lighting and a built in multi room sound system. The bathroom is large, full of color and tile and includes a shower and jetted bathtub. On the outside, there are two private courtyards surrounded by adobe walls with built in outdoor lighting. There is a covered, off street, carport and outside security gate. The casita is situated in a nice neighborhood that is within walking distance to the plaza with many restaurants, shops and museums. Barbara checked in with us several times to assure that everything was to our satisfaction. Casita De Soledad will be our go to place for any future visits to Santa Fe.
