A new king sleigh bed and other tasteful furnishings including pull out couch, desk, table and chairs, and a flatscreen TV with web browser and Blu-Ray will help you unwind after a long day on the river or skiing.

The kitchen is ready for you to prepare your own gourmet meals, equipped with updated stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a bar with two stools.

The oversized bathroom has a shower/tub combo and a full size commercial washer/drawer.

Enjoy private access up a staircase to the studio apartment with plenty of parking. Outside, a stone patio overlooking serene horse pasture with adirondack chairs and a fire pit is the perfect place to unwind.

Our property is nestled in the back of a rural equestrian neighborhood with ample space to stretch out and unwind. Most pets welcome. Cable, Wi-fi, trash, and electric all included.

We moved to Jackson 15 years ago and have made this our home. Our five children were born in Jackson and we feel so blessed to be raising them here.

We purchased this spectacular property in 2013 and have the extra studio apartment above the garage so we can share our favorite place in the world with others. We have no doubt you will enjoy the tranquility and peace of country lifestyle and mountain views.

What makes this guest house unique

We are close to the town of Jackson, yet we feel like we live out in the country. South Park Ranches is a coveted neighborhood due to its close proximity to town but rural feel and the ability to have horses and other animals.

A Hidden Gem at an Affordable Price!

The apartment is perfect for a couple, a family of 4 or two couples who don't mind sharing common space. The apartment is larger than the pictures illustrate and their is plenty of room for living and preparing meals. We stayed and skied for three weeks and always felt like we were coming home after skiing. The convenience of the full size washer and dryer reduces the burden of packing for a long stay. Since Albertson's Grocery defines the southern end of Jackson Hole for us, we would say that the drive is a mere 4 miles to town. In addition there is a wonderful local pub called The Bird" that is about 1 and 1/2 miles away. Another couple joined us for 5 nights and the space was entirely comfortable for all. My one recommendation would be to bring a good air mattress as I am no longer a fan of any pull-out sleeper. A wonderful place for an extended vacation!

Great stay in Jackson Hole!

We had a great 7 week stay in this very spacious comfortable studio apartment (meaning there is no separate bedroom. Not an issue!) over a detached garage on the owners property. It had just about everything we could need for such a long stay- very comfortable king size bed with good pillows, full size washer/dryer located in the large bathroom and a well stocked kitchen. There was enough starter items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher and laundry detergent and dryer sheets. We were able to be here with our pets: our older Labrador as well as our two cats. And for that we are so grateful- there aren't too many places that would allow a large dog as well as cats. As it is over a garage, be mindful that you do have to go up and down a full flight of indoor steps (accessed though your own private outside entrance). There is a very small private patio just outside the apartment entrance with 2 chairs and a small table. There is also use of your own small charcoal grill .It is located in a great neighborhood about 10-15 minutes (5-6 miles?) drive time south of the town of Jackson proper. Seemingly everyone in the neighborhood has horses which is really fun. Our dog enjoyed the horses (Hank, Larry and especially Woodrow the Palomino), visiting the pet rabbits in their hutch, going over to look at the chickens and taking our daily walks through the neighborhood. The owners Dan and Dancy are especially lovely folks who were always a pleasure to interact with (as well as their really nice children). They made us feel very much at home but certainly left us alone as well. Dan was kind enough to put a very large bowl of eggs on our doorstep fresh from their chickens (thanks again Dan!!). I would recommend to anyone who wanted to spend time in Jackson Hole- stay here! We would do it again in a heartbeat. We've just left for our journey home and we miss it already! Thank you so much Dan and Dancy for allowing us to stay!

Amazing place to stay!

We had an incredible stay at Dan & Dancy's place. The location is fantastic as it is in a beautiful valley surrounded with view of the Tetons. You can see Grand Teton right out your window. The unit itself had everything we needed for our month long stay (we wish we could have stayed longer!). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The full sized washer and dryer was a huge plus. We had to work a bit during our time there and it was very comfortable for us to spend extended time there. We took some great walks directly from the home and there are also wonderful hikes a short distance away. We did day trips to Yellowstone and Teton National parks. It's hard to write enough superlatives to describe the wonderful experience we had. Thank you so much Dan and Dancy for sharing your beautiful home with us!

wonderful, quiet Teton studio

I stayed in this spacious studio apartment for 5 weeks and it was perfect. Full kitchen, comfy bed, beautiful view, good internet, very clean, even a washer/dryer. Ideal spot to enjoy the Tetons with the convience of neaby Jackson. Dan and Dandy were great host and hostess, in a very stealth way. Coming back for more skiing next year.

Great location outside of Jackson WY

The property is a great location if you want to be close to town with easy access to the bike trails. The loft is fully furnished with everything you need. We enjoyed seeing the horses and chickens everyday. The hosts are very kind and helpful if you need anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Fun at Bedstraw Guest Studio Apartment

This location and apartment exceeded our expectations and made our month long stay in Jackson in August, 2016 so enjoyable. This is a studio apartment so everything is in one room, however, it is very roomy, cozy and clean. The laundry setup, extra sofa bed, and comfy queen bed were just perfect for my husband and I. It is very easy to get into downtown Jackson and the national parks, plus there are great groceries and restaurants not too far away. The location was peaceful, we learned a lot about having horses, the owners and their family are exceptional, and it was truly a nice place to stay. Highly recommended!!!

A post clean charge of $150 will be taken out of the deposit. The deposit is due at the time of reserving the property and the final payment is due 30 days prior to your stay. Deposits are fully refundable until 30 days prior to your stay. Your deposit - the $150 cleaning fee will be returned within 7 days of departure. If there is damage to the unit or excessive cleaning, then the expense will be taken out of your deposit.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
