Family reunions, guys' getaways, special interest groups, corporate retreats, and bridal parties have all said “I do” to the seclusion, serenity and spaciousness of this 4+ bedroom waterfront home on fabulous Lake Murray. Wide open spaces both indoors and out present a variety of scenic settings for both togetherness and solitude. A vaulted great room, furnished screened porch, and breezy wrap around porches with rocking chairs welcome Uno players, lemonade sippers, and Kindle readers while the waterfront deck, fire pit, and gazebo present the perfect venues to watch the sunset and toast the day (plus a few marshmallows as well!) Kid- and Fido-friendly, parents love the bunk beds, ping pong and pool tables, and cornhole game plus the nearby quiet cove perfect for tubing and waterskiing. Foodies appreciate the well-appointed kitchen (with two additional refrigerators in the garage), anglers relish the bass-, bream- and catfish-filled waters, and daydreamers savor the 180-degree views of the lake.

Nobody’s Business is located on the south side of Lake Murray near Acapulco Landing known for its great fishing. The house is rented by the week (7-day minimum) for the summer months (Memorial Day through Labor Day) with a Friday changeover. The remainder of the year is rented by the day with a 2-day minimum. A $225 cleaning fee is added to all reservations.

Great house

My family and my son's groomsmen stayed at this house for my son's wedding weekend, and it was great. Lot's of room, plenty of things to do, and Buzz was a great host. I definitely recommend this house.

Family Christmas Gathering

All the pluses of this big house have been noted by other reviews. I want to tell you 3 things to know in advance: 1) Upon arrival YOU MUST MAKE UP EVERY BED. We’ve rented vacation homes for 25 years, and this was a first. 2) Bring Ice (no ice maker) 3) Extremely Low water flow from Kitchen faucet, which I assume the owners know about and plan to fix. We had a good time opening presents in front of the fireplace!

Great weekend

Wonderful home on the water with lots of space, amenities and views. Enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table inside and then the fire pit and dock outside. Even with the lake level very low, the dock had plenty of water for a boat to tie up.

Son’s wedding

We had a wonderful time at Nobody’s business. We rented the home for our sons wedding, the accommodations were perfect for our family. Each group had their own rooms and bathrooms. The house is even bigger than the photos depict. Due to weather we didn’t get to spend much time outdoors, but the dock, view and outdoors areas were great! The owner was also gracious enough to let us host the rehearsal dinner at the house. It made it very intimate and special! We can’t thank them enough!
