Unique, private rustic bedroom with hall bathroom. Situated on the 1st floor of an historic townhouse, with an emphasis on organic amenities and customer service.
Located in one of the most preferred neighborhoods in DC, this DuPont Circle home rests on a quiet tree-lined street and features fine dining in walking distance. Conveniently located near Embassy Row, museums and shopping. Even better, nearby salons and bistros abound.
This is one of several units managed by an experienced host who has been awarded SuperHost Status on Airbnb. It is my aim to provide guests the same five-star touches that I look for when I travel: lodging located in a gorgeous neighborhood, safety, cleanliness, upscale linens and towels, comfortable mattresses and high-speed Internet.
This listing includes a private bedroom and a small, fully functional bathroom that is located just across the hallway. The room is at the quieter end of our home near to the kitchen and is nicely sized and comfortably appointed; the mattress topped with freshly laundered linens, cleaned just prior to your arrival. The space is rustic, yet the glass ceiling gives you the thrill of gazing at the stars from bed.
Close to your front door you will find a corner market and a dry cleaner. Just a few blocks beyond enjoy restaurants, cafes, theatre and shopping. After dining, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood with our beautiful mansions.
Minutes away, the subway will transport guests to the most popular sites: the Smithsonian, the Capitol, world renowned monuments and Arlington Cemetery, to name a few. The White House is within walking distance with lovely sites along the way. And if traveling with children, so is the zoo.
Cabs, Ubers and bike rental stations are abundant in the area. If you favor your own vehicle, there are two options that can be added to your quote: driveway parking can be made available for up to 2 vehicles, and any number of street parking permits can also be arranged.
Please Note: I book on a first-come basis, and the furnishings are constantly evolving. The listing includes the private bedroom and the hall bathroom only. There is no access to any other parts of the home or outdoor areas. The space is warmer in summer and cooler in winter, and there is a ceiling fan and space heater provided to augment the HVAC system. The glass ceiling has no curtains or blinds.
