Perfect location in Cedar City

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay in Cedar City. The apartment was just what we needed. We hiked in national parks (Bryce, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Zion, Cedar Breaks, etc.) by day and watched Shakespeare plays by night. The Shakespeare Festival is just a few blocks away. A few more blocks away is a running/bike path, and a supermarket is directly across the street. Cafes with coffee and ice cream are also only a few steps away. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and reliable wifi. One of the most exceptional things about the property is the owner. He is kind, generous, and prompt in all communication. We look forward to returning.

Centrally located within walking distance of many of our activities.

  • 5 of 5

Nestled in the heart of downtown Cedar City. We came to enjoy the Utah Shakespearean Festival, which we walked to daily. Enjoyed quaint shops and eating places. Traveled to and hiked through four national parks/monuments and state parks. This apartment could not have been better for our needs.

Wonderful in all respects

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay during the Utah Shakespeare Festival - a leisurely six minute walk to the Festival's activities. The apartment had everything the two of us needed - a full-sized kitchen with table seating for four, a nicely sized bedroom with a queen bed and two reclining chairs, a clean bathroom, shower with plenty of water pressure and laundry facilities. A grocery store is across the street. We saved lots of money as we prepared most meals in the apartment. The owner was very responsive to the one special request we had. Great value for the price.

Great place from which to explore southern Utah!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for an extended weekend and loved the place. The unit was clean and equipped for what we needed (coffee pot; toaster; washer/dryer; etc). Unit was small but we didn't need much space. Owner was very responsive. Cedar city was good place from which to explore southern Utah (Zion; Bryce; etc).

Comfortable and cute downtown place to stay.

  • 3 of 5

My siblings and I sent our parents on a little over overnighter to Cedar City to see The Piano Guys and have a little get-away. They told me the unit was so nicely decorated and so convenient to everything downtown. They said the only downfall was that the unit wasn't that clean. There were only 2 bathtowels, no wash cloths or hand towels. Also, there was a dirty ring in the bathtub. The carpet had feathers scattered around like it hadn't been vacuumed. There were dishes in the dishwasher and a beer bottle cap on the floor in the kitchen. They said the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, they just wondered if the unit had forgotten to be wiped down and finished being cleaned. Other than that, they enjoyed the stay and had a great time. Thanks for the stay.

Owner's Response: Amy, I apologize that the cleaning of the apartment was not up to the standard that it should have been. I take deep pride in having a a clean apartment for every guest. I like to have my apartments in great shape for each guest. I had a family emergency before your parents were to arrive, so i was not able to clean it myself. I had a close friend clean the apartment for me. I appreciate your feedback of letting me know that the unit was not as clean as it should have been. I have addressed this issue and will make sure it doesn't happen again. Thanks again. Clay

Cedar City is known as the Festival City. There are always activities going around town. They have a new aquatic center and a new ice skating rink for the winter. On top of Leigh hill right by the aquatic center there is a large lake where you can swim, fish, kayak or just play on the beach. There are tons of hiking and biking trails to keep you busy for weeks around the area.
