Spacious, privately owned, lake home in a private lakefront community on Nolin Lake.

This waterfront custom designed lake house is a mix of Craftsman, and Lodge styles with 100% wood interior. The Home includes 4 large Bedrooms, 3 full baths, 27 foot Vaulted great room, huge family room, finished basement, eat in kitchen, 12 x 20 screened porch, 12 x 20 covered patio, and a 12 x 20 2nd floor private deck off the master bedroom, all with incredible lake views. (Please note, the army core of engineers controls the lake level. Lake levels will not be noticeable during the winter months of Nov - April, feel free to e-mail or call before booking if you have any questions about the lake).

Wax Marina and recreation area is located less than 1 mile by car or water from the house with full access to fuel, ice, food, boat slips, and rentals.

Iberia beach and boat ramp is located only 3 miles from the home. Ibereia offers a picnic area and beach for guests of all ages to enjoy some sun and swimming.

Fully equipped kitchen contains everything need glass-top range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Appliances include: coffee maker, mixer, blender, as well as cooking and bake ware. The dining area will accommodate 6. The outdoor deck is equipped with gas grill and table for an additional 6 people.

Place is nice, but needs a few things. Our stay was 10/13-17/17.

1. Replace burn out bulbs

2. Light over drive that works

3. A few more chairs in the living room

4. Light over kitchen table. Summer no problem, but autumn not enough light to see to play games

5. Another cabinet in kitchen would help for food storage

6. Stepped on a fish hook

7. Be sure laundry baskets are where they should be - none on the 2nd floor.

Beautiful Home, Wonderful Location

Plenty of room for six adults. The pictures of this home do not do it justice. Gorgeous view of the lake from the two story windows. Enjoyed the use of the owners kayaks and swimming off the dock. Wax marina is just around the corner.We enjoyed the quiet days and the star filled night sky. This home, the lake, and the Blue Holler Cafe will bring us back.

Great for family gathering

Beautiful country views, close walk to docks. Open floor plan on main floor plus screened porch area was good for our group of 11. Nearby attractions were big hit with the kids.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Our family of 6 adults and 2 grandkids (6 and 9) stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. The kids loved the teleport shower, bunk beds and having the lower level as their playroom. The adults enjoyed having their own bedrooms and a bathroom on each level. The house has a beautiful view of a well-mowed meadow, complete with visiting deer and an old barn. We rented a pontoon for a day from Wax Marina and we all spent many hours floating on the lake. The last day we just floated on our large inner tubes by our dock. The water was warm enough to really enjoy the colder water below the foot at the top. We dried out the provided firewood after the night's rain and enjoyed a lovely fire while playing corn hole. Internet reception came and went after about 5-10 minutes, but at least allowed some connectivity. We appreciated the closeness of the "congested area" for forgotten items. Leslie Lane neighbors were friendly and helpful. Grandpa's knee was grateful he could drive the car down to the lane going to the dock instead of using the path. We highly recommend this home and hope to be able to return!
