Wonderful Owner

We arrived at Barcelona Airport and rang the contact as advised. She informed us the owner was waiting at the apartment and that there had been a problem with the plumbing! This was a bit worrying. However when we arrived at the apartment Victor met our cab and apologised profusely because his apartment was not fit to take us. He had called an emergency plumber to fix the broken pipe but he was unable to have the repairs completed before our arrival as quoted. Once this was confirmed Victor then set about finding us another apartment. He came with us in the cab, took us into our new apartment and showed us how everything worked. He had done wonders finding us a beautiful apartment in such a short time. The apartment he found was in a great location, really clean, well laid out and equipped and suited us perfectly. He gave us advice about some great restaurants and sightseeing and checked with us after the first day that everything was right for us. He coul not have been more apologetic and was obviously really concerned for us. He is a lovely young man and I am sure that even though we didn't get to stay in his apartment anyone staying there will be very well looked after. We also appreciated the lovely bottle of wine he had arranged for us. Thank you again for your kindness Victor you helped to make our stay in Barcelona a great one!

HUGE BED BITES BEWARE

Requested clean linens for filthy pillow, duvet cover for dirty comforter. 2nd day covered in BED BUG BITES !!!! Huge welts. Took picture for host. Clean linens did not arrive until night before we left…. 5 days. Would not recommend this until it was fumigated. Victor has not responded dealing with this issue. We would like half of our payment to be refunded.

Comfortable and Sunny Apartment

We spent 4 nights and felt very comfortable during our stay. We were able to walk to many sites from the apartment. The outside appearance isn't appealing, but once you are inside it is lovely, lots of sunshine which made the space feel spacious. The apartment had all that was needed and everything worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Location

Apartment is an amazing location and very nicely decorated. There is lots of space and the building itself was secure and quiet. Also, great to have a clothes washer! Be prepared for noise from the street (ear plugs are necessary). The check in process was confusing as we never received instructions and had to contact them. The bathroom had clearly been used just prior to our arrival :( and the kitchen needs a good cleaning.

Open views please. Most of my apartment are attics with amazing views over the city or to some open nice places. I enjoy very much music. Now i am addicted to Spotify: it is like traveling around the world! When i travel, specially if i stay long, i like to have access to spotify and other Internet tools. That's why all my apartments have free Wifi connection and computer with web cam.

Why they chose this property

The open big space with 3 small balconies and a nice window will give you a relaxing feeling of pleasure. Its wood floor, its big bed, NON Ikea forniture, new kitchen and bath, etc... All ready for you to feel in a sweat room of a 4/5 stars hotel. Trust me. But with the advantage of being in an apartment where you can enjoy cooking, you can be yourself without being disturb in the morning.

Also the neighborhood is ideal to discover the city. In center town but not too much touristic. And only 5' walking from Las Ramblas and Palau Guell
