Welcome to the the Ledges Resort & Marina! We are located on the St. Lawrence River across from Boldt Castle and Sunken Rock Lighthouse. We have ten cottages of various sizes spread throughout the property. Six acres of landscaped grounds and gardens wander along the river for your enjoyment. We have decks, hammocks, and gazebos along the water. The large in-ground pool is newly renovated. Each cottage has their own firepit with Adirondak chairs, and we provide firewood for free! High speed Wi-Fi is in every cottage and throughout the grounds. Each cottage has an outdoor dining area and gas grill. There are plenty of open lawn areas to play catch, yard games, or just take a walk.

Canoes and kayaks are available to Ledges guests at no charge. We have boat rentals on site. We also offer guided scenic tours in an antique wooden boat! Or if you want to bring your own boat, dockage is available for $2 per foot/per night. Dock slips include power and water hook-ups. We have plenty space to park your boat trailer, and there are three free public launch ramps within one mile of us.

Each cottage is fully prepped and stocked with anything you would need. All beds are made up with fresh sheets, blankets, and comforters. The bathrooms are set with fresh bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, a bathmat, and luxury toiletries. The kitchens have everything you need including pots, pans, silverware and dishes. They have a micowave, drip-coffee maker, toaster, blender, and tea kettle. You will also find kitchen basics like dish soap, tin foil, dish sponges, paper towels, salt, pepper, and other items.

From The Ledges it is an easy one mile walk to the center of downtown Alexandria Bay. You will have easy access to shopping, dining, tours, parks, and attractions. There is a new public playground right on our street. Downtown you fill find scenic view park. It has a public beach for river swimming, a playground, and a large pavilion on the water. With our location and six acres of private grounds we offer a level of peace, space, and privacy that you won’t find at a hotel. At the Ledges you have the best of both worlds, relaxation and convenience!

The Ledges is a dog friendly resort. We do require dogs to be kept on a leash at all times, be cleaned up after, and kept off all furniture. Owners must be responsible and make sure their dogs do not cause noise or disturbances to other guests. There is a $35 per night/per dog fee.

This listing is for the Island Cottage. It is a studio style layout and is right next to the water with a private deck. The deck has a great view of Boldt Castle. Inside you will find a queen size bed and a full-size pull-out sofa. Both have memory foam mattresses. There is a mid-size refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, tea kettle, and microwave. The television is 42" HDTV with Directv satellite. There is a small dining table and two chairs. The bathroom has a stand-up corner shower.

On the attached covered deck there is a full outdoor kitchen. It features a gas grill, four burner gas stove, another refrigerator/freezer, and stainless kitchen sink. Behind the cottage is a firepit with Adirondak chairs. Firewood is provided.
