Great location in St. Paul
Nice open apartment in a quaint neighborhood in St. Paul. The kitchen was well equipped and you can walk to an upscale market.
Convenient apartment in great neighborhood
Apartment is in a great neighborhood, convenient to the fairgrounds. The beds were really comfortable and it was very quiet. It had everything you needed in the kitchen and the living area was spacious and comfortable. I thought the pictures represented the apartment well although you cannot tell how low the ceilings were. It wasn't a problem for my family however if my oldest son had been with us (6'2") it may have felt a little too low. The owner responded to my initial request quickly, answered questions when I was there via text and repaid the damage deposit in a timely manner. My only complaint if it could be called that is that I had to contact him for the check in information and there was no info in the apartment reqarding use of the tv, wifi or checkout info. I would stay again.
Convient location to visit the twin cities
The owner is very friendly and responsive in case of problems (like a not perfectly clean linen). Well equipped kitchen with everything you might need. If you are sensitive to noise please note that you can hear people walking in the upper appartment. Overall a pleasant experience. Every location in the twin cities is easily reachable. I would recommend this appartment.
Very nice and well kept place.
I had a wonderful experience.
Everything I expected. Very nice place to stay
My husband and I stayed in this well furnished apartment while we were in St Paul for our daughter's wedding. There was enough room for us to host a social gathering in preparation for the wedding. The owners were very accommodating for this additional use of their space. We very much enjoyed this get away during the hectic week. It was peaceful and very comfortable. I would stay here again.
A journalists perspective, St. Anthony Park is an urban village situated between the downtowns of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, known for its community activism and strong neighborly bonds. It also enjoys a unique global perspective, thanks in large part to the international students, faculty and families connected to the campuses of the University of Minnesota and Luther Seminary. The community takes special pride in its two public schools, St. Anthony Park Elementary and Murray Junior High, which regularly rank among the top schools in the metro area. The community is home to a rich collection of educational, religious, social service, arts institutions and the St. Anthony Park Foundation which is the city of St. Paul’s first neighborhood-based charitable foundation. Neighbors and shoppers from throughout the Twin Cities can take advantage of two vibrant business districts, in North St. Anthony Park, near the University of Minnesota’s St. Paul campus, and in South St. Anthony Park, near University Ave. and its thriving art galleries and artists’ studios.
My take living in the neighborhood, it's like a small town downtown in the city. Walk to everything, local market with organic fresh produce and meat market, post office, medical/pharmacy, library, a variety of churches, lots of parks, bank, coffee shops, book store, gas/service station, cafe and fine dining, tea and wine shops. Walk to the MN State Fair a do not miss event before Labor Day.
