The cabin was very well appointed and very clean!

  • 5 of 5

The owners made every effort to make the cabin feel cozy. Lots of little extra touches to enhance our vacation was great! It was very clean and the location is awesome!

The Grass River Nature area is a beautiful place. The walk to the dock is not far, however, there are some overgrown areas which make the trek down to it a bit uneasy. We did use the canoe one evening and that was fun.

If you experience some rainy days, the shops in Bellaire and Alden as well as the various wineries including Torch Lake Winery (just up the road) are fun places to visit.

Thank you Kristi and Steve for a great stay! Kim and Chris

Adorable A-Frame with all the amenities.

  • 5 of 5

Top notch cabin slightly removed from the over populated Torch Lake area.

Lovely walk to the river, access to surrounding lakes.

Looking forward to returning in the summer.

Nice setting. Good location. Great amenities. Clean. We would easily return for another stay. Check out the near by Torch Lake Winery. Great people with good suggestions of places to visit. The winery is close by and was a favorite.

A wonderful romantic getaway!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. The river is such a short walk away and the canoe was fantastic! The place was really clean and organized. Kristi was available via text message for questions. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, so much to do in the area, and NOT just for summer time.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had so much fun. I am wondering why the upstairs isn't made into another bedroom so that I can bring the whole family! While there, we canoed right from the property. We hiked at the nearby glacial hills pathways. We sampled local craft beer (Shorts), an amazing small batch distillery (Mammoth), craft cider and mead (Bee Well), and went to Torch Lake Cellars for wine. We also relaxed by both the fire pit outside and the fireplace inside. The fall colors were still beautiful even the last weekend of October. All in all, it was a great weekend.
