About Lynsey Malone
This home is owned by Lynsey (me), my twin sister Heather and our brother, Chris. I live in eastern Connecticut with my husband Gregg and our two boys so we fully understand the need for a peaceful living space, especially on vacation! Heather and her husband, Troy, live in Arizona and Chris lives in Washington state. We welcome families, couples needing a retreat or a small group of people looking for a getaway. Thank you for visiting!
Why Lynsey Malone chose Stonington
This home has been passed down through several generations of our family. We grew up in the house and have many fond memories of riding our bikes around the neighborhood, visiting the Seaport and Aquarium, making forts in the dining room and spending family time together. It's our goal to provide you with a wonderful place to make your own memories!

A perfect place for couples or small families to stay in downtown Mystic.
Exactly what we needed for a week-long visit in Mystic. Walkable to everything, quiet, and stocked with all you need for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the beach mats / towels / chairs, and the in-house laundry. Great communication with owners, a very useful user guide to the place, absolutely no issues or concerns. Trust all the other reviews, you'll be happy here.
Absolutely perfect property for young family!
We came to Mystic because we were looking for a seaside vacation town and love a good aquarium. While we were excited to visit both the aquarium and the seaport and did enjoy them, we really had the best time just exploring the town from our perfect location. There is a wonderful public playground within easy walking distance (with a four and almost three year old) without even using a stroller. Great kid friendly restaurants are also an easy walk away. There is an amazing butcher shop/restaurant just two blocks from the house and we picked up food there to grill at home on the deck a couple times during our stay. The fenced backyard is the perfect size and the kids played in it every day of our stay.
Lynsey has the kitchen stocked with kid safe cutlery and plate ware. Although we didn’t need them I appreciated that she also had a stroller and play yard available for families with younger children. She even provides a beach umbrella and sand toys, which we used for a relaxing morning at the local public beach!
Lynsey’s home is comfortable, clean, and she provides thoughtful amenities. She was incredibly prompt in responding to any questions we had about our stay. I can’t say enough about the unbeatable location close to all the action, but tucked away in a quiet section of town. We loved the property and enjoyed our vacation in Mystic even more because we stayed there.
Perfect Spot
Clean and comfy, perfect location for walking to the drawbridge and Seaport. Pack and play and kids toys were great to have. Loved having breakfast on the back porch each morning. We were a bit worried that our child could knock over the living room air conditioner but we were able to keep their attention else ware.
Great Location
We have stayed in this property several times and it is always a pleasure. You are within walking distance of downtown Mystic and all the restaurants/shops. The home is clean and well maintained.
Look forward to returning
Extremely quiet and so very convenient to downtown and other attractions. Ability to walk to many restaurants and shops is a big plus.
We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great place, close to downtown.
This was our fourth stay at this property and we were not disappointed. Lynsey goes out of her way to be sure the home is clean and fully stocked with all the things you need. The location is perfect; you can walk to all the downtown stores and restaurants.
