For nature and bird lovers, our area was part of the 'Great Black Swamp' and we are at the crossroads of two major migratory paths. The variety of birds and waterfowl is amazing! We love sharing the wonderful things our area has to offer and helping you create wonderful memories while spending time at 504!

Only surprises were pleasant ones. Would stay here again. Everything was spacious, including the lounge areas around the yard. Jeff and Carol were very easy to deal with and all instructions were easily understood.

A little touch of heaven on the Lake!

This 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment is unbelievable! Loving antiques and collectibles, this was a dream come true for me - everywhere I looked, I saw something that I hadn't noticed before. Carol and Jeff have a real knack for decorating! The house is gorgeous, the views are lovely, and the landscaping and backyard are just beautiful. The bottle-house is cute as can be!

This is a very unique home and we are so appreciative that Jeff and Carol decided to provide a rental in the very large second floor. Perhaps the most amazing thing is how clean everything is! I just had to ask Carol who does the dusting and Jeff piped right up and said "Carol!" I mean, this place is spotless! I dropped my phone charger next to the bed and couldn't resist looking under the bed when I bent down to pick it up - not one dust bunny anywhere to be found! Seriously, who doesn't have at least one or two bunnies under their bed? There are so many interesting items on every shelf in every room - pictures from the olden days - cute ideas like using an old aluminum kettle for storing the bottled water provided in the kitchen!

Our stay was very relaxing and laid back - just what we needed! So very happy to have found the Stone House in Port Clinton - we are already looking forward to staying again soon!!

a must stay in the port clinton area!

  • 5 of 5

This "girls weekend" was the best! Five of us stayed in beautiful 504 and loved it! There is a great view of the water from the front porch, plenty of room and fully stocked with anything you will need. The house is decorated extremely well and we spent some time "checking out" all of the décor, and the very unique wine bottle room. We visited local stores, went to Marblehead, Put in Bay and Kelleys Islands and relaxed at the house in the evenings with the wine and cheese we bought locally. I would highly recommend this property, and will stay here if we return to port Clinton. This property is on the second floor and we shared one bathroom, which worked out great for us, but could be a concern to others. Thank you Carol and Jeff!

Beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed three nights and saw the surrounding sights...took the Jet Express ( 3 minutes from the house) to Put-in-Bay , and drove into Lakeside. The house is well-equipped with everything you need. The owners have made it very comfortable. Everything is clean and in good order. They even had some brownies and lemonade waiting for us. The owners live on the first floor, and the apartment they rent is on the second floor, so you do have to climb some steps, but that was not a big deal for us! Beautiful garden! Thanks Carol and Jeff!

Weekend at Lake

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is amazing! The owners are very nice and everything was ready when we arrived, including lemonade and cookies in the apartment. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has any dish or utensil you would need. We would love to stay again sometime and would highly recommend the house to any of our friends. Great location for Lake Erie activities. There are several good restaurants within walking distance and the ferry is very close.
