The home was clean, spacious, well-appointed and in a lovely area! We found the beds to be comfortable, and everything in excellent condition. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates and utensils. The appliances all worked well. Thermostats were easy to use in order to warm the home up! (we were there during a definite "cold snap"!) The snow that fell during our stay was quickly shoveled from the walks, and that was greatly appreciated! The spacious enclosed entry-porch made removing our shoes (to comply with the no-shoes policy of the home) much easier to deal with!

The walking/running path around the lake is well-maintained, and although the lake was frozen during our stay, we enjoyed going for a walk, and can imagine how nice this location would be in the summer as well. An elegant home-away-from-home!

These areas are not included in the Agreement. The owner retains the right to access & use the Owner’s area during this Rental Period. Do not block garage door access to the 3rd – single garage door – as the owners may access these areas of the home 24/7/365. Guests have exclusive use of the 1st and 2nd floor of the home.

Lovely home and responsive owner

Do not be put off by the owner’s request that you sign separate paperwork or his rather curt email responses. This is a very nice home that is very well maintained and provisioned—worth the extra hoops! And the owner, whom we met one day during our stay, is quite pleasant. The lake across the street makes for a beautiful walk or run. The owner brought over a teapot within hours of our requesting one. But bring shampoo and shower soap because none is provided.

A wonderful home for our family to celebrate Christmas!

We loved it. It was a perfect for for our family to celebrate Christmas together. The large kitchen, the 2 dining areas, the spacious living room, and the 5 bedrooms with 3 baths made it comfortable and allowed everyone their own space. It was clean and wonderfully furnished. We would definitely stay there again.

Many gathering spaces, and "alone"

Spaces. Lovely lake view and walking trails. Exceptionally clean and well-furnished. Kitchen eating area large and accommodating. Would definitely use this place again.

A great house for a family get together

Extended family was visiting St. Paul for a wedding. The house's 5 bedrooms were just what we needed to accommodate multiple families. The location was very convenient to the reception and the proximity to the lake and the walking path provided outdoor activities without having to drive. We had a very good experience. The kitchen is well equipped and there was plenty of room to sit down to eat together.
