Experience of a lifetime
The John Riordan House is a truly wonderful place. The care with which it has been restored is only matched by the consideration that the owner has shown for all the potential needs of guests. Every room was comfortable and full of fascinating artefacts and information. Our posted pictures caused a minor sensation with friends and family! We were well advised about how to find the property, where to park, shortest walking route to town etc. We would recommend Glenn and his property without hesitation.

unique property with an incredible view
I'm a historian by profession and jumped at the opportunity to stay here. Plenty of atmosphere. Fabulous period furnishings. A splendid rook's nest above the old town of Jerome. No complaints whatsoever.

Host profile image
As a fifth generation general contractor and carpenter, I bought the house with the intent to restore to it's original state to preserve a unique piece of Jerome and Arizona history.

Pictured along with myself (on right) is Neil Riordan(on left). Neil, now age 81 along with his brother John , now aged 86, who grew up in this house from 1931 until 1953. Click on the second link below to read the 2 page article in ARIZONA HIGHWAYS MAGAZINE about the families life and their escape when the mudslide struck the house while living inside.
