Had a great time. Very comfortable home convenient to everything in the area.

Beautifully restored old farmhouse. Could not have needed another thing. The home was convenient to everything when we were busy and comfortable and accommodating when we weren't. Our first time to the area and the house, and we couldn't have had a better time. We will certainly consider another visit as I left many, many trout uncaught in the South Fork of the Holston River.

Truly Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have stayed here several times over the last few years when we come to Abingdon for our annual family reunion. This home is so comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. It does feel like home.

Perfect location for a getaway--and for reuntion with family and friends

  • 5 of 5

This was my third stay at this vacation property--and will certainly not be my last. For the past three Junes, some cousins and I have reunited here for a few days, sharing memories of childhood visits here in the 1940's-'50's, when our grandparents owned the property. The house is beautifully renovated, comfortably furnished, and totally charming. The views from every side are fantastic--and we love the cows in the adjoining pasture. This year I extended my stay several additional nights so that I could invite friends to meet me there for a "friend reunion." Every single one of them instantly fell in love with the place. Who would not love that front porch? In sum, this is vacation perfection.
