Why Sharon Lynch chose Southampton

We fell in love with the sunsets and location of this property, having always dreamed of living waterfront in the Hamptons someday. We currently live nearby. Someday we may move there, but until then, it will be yours.

What makes this house unique

The house is located in a lovely community, almost equidistant from Southampton, Sag Harbor and Bridgehampton. In the neighborhood you will see a lot of young families, people walking dogs and young couples. It's safe and private and features a community marina which you wont need as house has it's own private dock. When we first saw this house we just couldn't stop looking at the incredible water views throughout. There is a host of wildlife that stops by and some of the neighbors feed the swans and ducks, so they come by often. I have a paddle board and it is a joy to use there.

Perfect Summer property

  • 5 of 5

We spent 2 weeks in July at this lovely property . It has everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday,. It is well equipped and extremely comfortable , also in a tranquil location with direct access to calm wam water . We all tried paddle boarding for the first time and loved it. This is also a perfect location to enjoy South Hampton and explore the wider area . A beautiful part of the world. Sharon is extremely friendly and helpful , answering any queries quickly and is will go the extra mile to ensure your stay is everything you hope for . We would love to come back . Thank you Sharon . Love Fiona and Ross

Comfort and Convenience

  • 5 of 5

Are you particular? Fussy about temperature? Bedding? Cleanliness? Need to bring your mother and your dog? Finding the perfect home to suit everyone's needs is not easy. We booked Sharon's home from June 1 - 12 and learned a lot about vacationing early in the season. The home is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with the entry from the street and the view on the water. The highlight is the incredible water view from the kitchen, lounging areas and all bedrooms. There are purple rhododendrons in bloom and the lawn and trees welcome ducks, geese, loon, birds and squirrels. There is a fireplace that adds ambiance in the am with your coffee and in the pm with your glass of wine or champagne. The wrap around windows allow you be one with nature which is a gift when you live in the city. After popping the cork and enjoying a delicious lobster dinner delivered from Schmidts (in less than one hour!), we were able to appreciate the climate control, everyone having their own room and the comfortable mattresses and bedding. Each room offers room darkening drapery and a remote-controlled television. My husband is a golfer and wanted to play different courses and everyone else wanted to explore East/Southampton and Sag Harbor. With only one car, we decided to rent at Enterprise. There was a large shipment of vehicles that just came in for the US Open. My happy husband left with the new Maserati SUV at a better rate due to the season not quite in full swing. Two cars made a big difference for us and we were able to enjoy the reading book marathon of Moby Dick in Sag Harbor, visiting Tory Burch's two shops and then seeing her home on Ox Pasture, going to the charming movie theatre to see Oceans 8 with Sandra Bullock and then walking past her home at Cooper's Beach. Amazing Italian at Dopo in front of the Sag Harbor marina and endless boutique shops that you don't see anywhere. Temperatures ran between 69 and 75 degrees. With sun, it felt much warmer and was pleasant for everyone. Boating season was just kicking in, the children were still in school and the crowds had not yet arrived. The house was centrally located and a short distance to the beaches, shops and markets which made it convenient for last minute meal pick-ups. We had a wonderful stay in this home and found it equipped with everything we needed including a wonderful new front-loading stackable washer and dryer. We highly recommend this home.

Awesome getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had such an awesome time at Sharon and Jim's cozy waterfront place. We took out two dogs with us. Sharon and Jim were so kind to have left notes for us about local resources which was so helpful. During our stay, we had the fuse blow out and being city people, didn't reAlly have a clue. Sharon and Jim were quick to respond and got it resolved even before it became an issue. Highly recommend this getaway if you want some relaxing time away from all the hustle and bustle , but still want to enjoy some active time on the water.

Purrfect!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, mother, friend and I had such a wonderful time is this perfectly situated home on Fish Cove. Everything we needed was supplied. Cooking was a dream as you could see the sunset from the expansive windows from the kitchen/living room. There is an extra living room upstairs but we hardly used it as we spent so much time downstairs enjoying the view or hanging on the patio. There are paddle boards and kayaks for use. A beautiful walk to Toudt's point. It was a wonderful place to use as a base to explore the Hamptons, Sag Harbour, Shelter Island and Montauk. We had a most relaxing time in early September when most travelers have gone.

Outstanding and unforgettable!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 spent the most enjoyable week at this property. It far surpassed our expectations and was by far one of the best weeks we have spent in The Hamptons. The house is so comfortable, beautifully maintained and presented . Everything the property has to offer makes you not want to leave . The dock , kayaks and paddleboards , sunsets and overall vistas made it unforgettable and so much fun. Sharon is a wonderful host and has thought of everything. This house was a delight and a pleasure to stay in. We will definitely be back ! Nothing to fault . Outstanding. Thank you Sharon and family!

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had lots of fun at our stay. We spend a week in the house. Everything we needed was there and more. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. What a fun thing to do. Enjoy the water and beautiful scenery. The house is very central. We drove to another little town every day.

Really love Long Island with its beautiful nature. Go to Elizabeth A Morton park, feed the birds. Don't forget to bring bird seed. The chipmunks come run to you and little birds land on your hand.

We loved the beach Coopers beach but also Montauk. Thanks Sharon for the suggestions.

The best local corn grower and farm stand in the area is North Sea Farms, brother to Tates cookie guru. you can find Tates bakery goods here too. Its less than a mile from the house.

There is a wonderful deli about 6/10's of a mile for sundries. SYS (Southampton youth services) has an incredible facility about a mile away with running tracks, gym, fitness class and tennis programmes for youth and adults.

Here is a web page list of local area public golf courses, Montauk Downs is wonderful, as is Indian Island. http://longislandgolfnews.com/blog/hamptons-montauk-north-folk-public-golf-course-guide/
