About Dan and Dawn Pendleton
We have lived in Warren since 1990 after completing school at the University of Maine, Orono. We live next door to our rental house in the larger farm house that Dan's mother grew up in. Dan is self employed as a farmer here working the land. He has maintained his Master Guides license from when we worked at a sporting lodge in Northern Maine where he guided clients and I was one of the cooks. I currently work at one of the elementary schools as an ed tech. I was in the banking industry for 22 years. We have 2 children in school that keep us busy and offer lots of help on the farm. Both houses are in the process of being updated. The rental updates pertain to the outside, as seen in pictures. It is in need of some new cedar shingles to match the new porch along with 4 large windows that need replacement.
Dan and Dawn Pendleton purchased this Farmhouse in 1995

Beautiful clean home, beautiful property. Owners are very receptive, friendly and respond quickly to any questions you may have throughout the booking process. I would love to stay here again.
Once again - It was perfect!
We have rented this house many times in the past and always are pleased with the home and the service. The Pendletons are friendly and provide for all our needs. It is such a beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing it with us. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Wonderful farmhouse with lake access and perfect for people vacationing with dogs.
We had a great vacation at Reunion Grove Farm. The house was clean and comfortable, just what we expected from the description and photos. The best part of the house is the screened in porch where we ate many meals and relaxed watching the farm activities. There is also a large ell, or mud room, with a covered couch for the dogs, and room for their bowls, crates and beds. The Pendleton children were often available to take them for walks during the day so we could enjoy the area without having to rush back to take them out. There is a farm lane that goes down the hill about a half a mile to North Pond. This is really a lake about 3 miles long. We walked down every morning seeing deer, wild turkeys and listening to the loons. There is a private beach area where we kept our kayak and a float to swim out to. The water was warm and clean. They also have a farm pond near the house for a quick dip on hot days. The Pendleton’s were available if needed but respected our privacy. The location is convenient to both Rt 1 and Rt. 90 making trips both north and south very easy. Beth’s Farm market is a few miles away and we thoroughly enjoyed their fresh fruit and vegetables. In summary Reunion Grove Farm is an excellent value for people looking for a comfortable, county house close to all mid-coast activities, with water access and dog friendly.
Living on the Farm
Nice, old time farmhouse with all the modern amenities. Plenty of space with a nice porch to have a dinner on. A propane BBQ grill that works well and plenty of hot water. Take a walk down to the pond and check out the fields of locally grown produce along the way.Dawn is great host!
Loved every but of this house, we hates to have to leave.
Dawn and Dan go well and beyond. The house was amazing and can't wait to return next year.
