About Dan and Dawn Pendleton

We have lived in Warren since 1990 after completing school at the University of Maine, Orono. We live next door to our rental house in the larger farm house that Dan's mother grew up in. Dan is self employed as a farmer here working the land. He has maintained his Master Guides license from when we worked at a sporting lodge in Northern Maine where he guided clients and I was one of the cooks. I currently work at one of the elementary schools as an ed tech. I was in the banking industry for 22 years. We have 2 children in school that keep us busy and offer lots of help on the farm. Both houses are in the process of being updated. The rental updates pertain to the outside, as seen in pictures. It is in need of some new cedar shingles to match the new porch along with 4 large windows that need replacement.

Dan and Dawn Pendleton purchased this farmhouse in 1995

Loved every but of this house, we hates to have to leave.

Dawn and Dan go well and beyond. The house was amazing and can't wait to return next year.

The property and the farm family suited us to a "T"---truly terrific!

  • 5 of 5

"The Little House" (the name of the excellent WI-FI service) was as neat as a pin and clean as a whistle; it lacked nothing that we needed or wanted. We are anxious to return next year.

Exactly what we needed for our short trip to Maine

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for 2 days the beginning of August for a charity function. The owners Dan and Dawn were very nice making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They also were very helpful in telling us some of the better places to eat close by the house. The house was exactly as described and pictured on the website.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. We are glad you found everything as described on the website and your expectations were met. Your time here was short but I feel you filled each day to the fullest. It was great meeting everyone and look forward to having you back again, if your adventures bring you back to this area.

Solitude

  • 4 of 5

Quaint home with easy access to area attractions. We enjoyed our stay. My only recommendation might be a water filtration system. The well water has a unique smell. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The peacefulness, evening breeze and starry nights make it a beautiful place to be. Yet we are only a few miles away from many things to see and do. We are 1/2 mile off route 1. The water at the house does come from a drilled well. I do provide a pitcher with filtration in the fridge. We haven't had anyone else concerned about the water. Our apologies to you for that.

Great value, great location, wonderful for our dog

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for six nights. The house is clean and cozy with all the necessities. The property is lovely and was really wonderful for our young dog, who could run in the fields and swim in the lake. Beth's Farm Market a short drive away has an amazing selection of local produce (and lobsters). Just 20 minutes away from Camden/Rockland.

Owner's Response: We appreciate your review and are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Reunion Grove Farm. The weather was nice and allowed you to enjoy the pond and outdoors during your stay. We have a great location along the mid-coast allowing to be away from traffic and noise but close enough to be able to see and do many things within a short distance.

Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

Quiet peaceful place right off Route one was convenient and comfortable. Cozy warm for us visiting from Florida for the holidays. Country beauty out of every window. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the kind review. Glad the winter weather wasn't too harsh on you. I agree that the sunsets and sunrises are amazing in the country! Easy access to route 1 and lots to see and do in the area year round. It was so nice to meet you and the family. Come back and visit us again soon.
