The location is unbeatable and the block is gorgeous! I wanted something that was quintessentially Capitol Hill, in the heart of this historic neighborhood and on a tree-lined block with other beautiful homes.
What makes this House unique
Quite simply, the access from this house is too good to be true! I can easily walk to dozens of restaurants, bars and shops as well as many of the nation's finest monuments, museums and memorials. The Capital South Metro station is half a block away and can have me in most other parts of DC within 15-20 minutes or at the airport (DCA) in 30 minutes. When I need to drive, the house is just three blocks from the freeway (I-395).

Beautiful home, great location, perfect DC weekend!
Marc was wonderful to work with! He replied to every question in a short time. The house was clean and well-stocked with extra bedding and plenty of kitchen essentials. Clean and comfortable. It was very nice, but not so over-the-top that I would feel uncomfortable having my children there. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. No problems what-so-ever. We were able to store our luggage there our last day after check-out so we didn't have to store it at Amtrak for $$$! Whole foods delivered easily and the Metro station is a 5 minute walk--so a car is not necessary (though there is a driveway!). Would stay here again!!
We had a great time in DC and this venue was perfect for a multi generational family. This location provided everything we needed-close to the Capitol, metro and grocery! The home had a great gathering room for us to share in the evenings.
Home was really nice and the location was even better than expected. Unfortunately, our visit included a power outage for the entire neighborhood. Marc was incredibly responsive and helpful. One member of our party required power for a medical device and he quickly arranged hotel accommodations for the night. I would highly recommend this home or any of his other properties!
Our family traveled from Buffalo to Washington DC for a four night stay. We had a wonderful fun filled time. This location could not have been more perfect- walking distance to Capital, National Mall, Nationals Park, and most of Historical sites and museums!! Great restaurants and also grocery store within walking distance!

You will not find a better Capitol Hill location! The very best of Capitol Hill and Washington DC are located just outside the door! This apartment is literally steps from the Capitol South metro station, one block from the House of Representatives office buildings and two blocks from the U.S. Capitol!
It is walking distance to the U.S. Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, the National Mall and its monuments, museums and memorials, Metro (orange and blue lines), dozens of restaurants, bars and shops along Pennsylvania Avenue, Union Station, the historic Eastern Market, the Barracks Row district of even more restaurants, bars and shops, the Washington Nationals baseball stadium, many beautiful parks and green spaces and it also has easy access to and from Interstate 395.
