A beautiful house

We stayed at the house as part of our family holiday, and it was excellent. The house itself, the gardens, the pool and annex building are all absolutely beautiful, immaculately maintained, and make for the perfect holiday. The house is extremely well equipped, and the kitchen areas in particular have everything which you would possibly need when self catering. The same is also true for the bedrooms and bathrooms which are all very comfortable, air conditioned, and have been exceptionally well maintained, with modern furniture and fittings throughout. The pool area is absolutely superb. It is a lovely size, and for our holiday it was in particular very well appreciated by the children in our family (aged between 3 and 10 years old), while the adults could also enjoy a swim and then enjoy the recliners and dining area around the pool. The pool house is where we spent much of our family time, with a separate large modern kitchen area, pool table, board games and TV. The pool has an automatic swimming pool cover to use at night which gave us great piece of mind with the small children in our family. The location in Vers Pont du Gard is also ideal. There are many historic towns to visit within a small radius, along with the Pont du Gard, and Haribo museum at Uzes which is well worth a visit. There are many restaurants, bars, supermarkets and fast food outlets all within a 10 minute drive from the house. The owners Mr and Mme Bine are very helpful and extremely welcoming. Even though my French is basic, we were able to communicate via email with no problem at all, with the help of Google translate from my side. We had an excellent holiday, and this superb house was the main reason for this. We will definitely be hoping to stay again here soon.

Unieke vakantievilla in Vers Pont du Gard

Wij beleefden, samen met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen, een heerlijke familievakantie in de villa van Gilbert en Guylaine Bine in Vers Pont du Gard. De contacten vooraf met de eigenaars waren bijzonder informatief en aangenaam en de ontvangst was buitengewoon joviaal en vriendelijk. Het doet Mr. en Mevr. Bine duidelijk plezier om gasten in 'hun' huis welkom te heten. Mede daardoor werd het voor ons gezin in alle opzichten een vijf sterren vakantie. Het huis, het poolhuis, de tuin en het ruime zwembad zijn bijzonder goed onderhouden en bieden echt alles waarvan je tijdens een vakantie kan dromen, ook voor kinderen: een all-in pakket dat men zich nauwelijks kan voorstellen. Wij waren met 13 (6 volwassenen en 7 jongeren en kinderen). Voor iedereen was er alle mogelijke comfort, maar vooral ook heel veel privacy. Vers Pont du Gard is een klein Provençaals dorpje met alle nodige voorzieningen (bakkerij, krantenwinkel, marktje, apotheek, bar, restaurant). Supermarkten zijn vlakbij. De ligging is ideaal om de Région du Gard te verkennen. Wij zijn uit Vers vertrokken in de hoop er zeker terug te komen. Mr. en Mevr. Bine: un grand merci! van harte bedankt! A superb well equipped property with extremely pleasant and helpful owners

We spent 2 splendid weeks with our children and grandchildren in August and September. M. and Mme Bine were helpful from the outset both in our booking and arrival. The property is spacious and allowed the three sets of adults and children to enjoy company and privacy when they wanted it. There is a surfeit of crockery, cutlery and all forms of cooking equipment. The pool is larger than most and was well used. There are plenty of activities to engage children and adults in the area. For the first time in many years of holidaying in France there was a unanimous vote to return to the same house.
