Nice host great neighborhood
Alexander was very helpful. The place is comfortable but need more cleaning especially in the toilet bowl which look very dirty inside. The shower stall door is a bit jam which need maintenance as well. Beside the minor points mentioned, Alexander and his apartment was great and I was very happy about this choice.
Thank you for yours propositions.
The shower door was repaires and bath room was better cleaned.
Best regards - Aleksander
A quirky and comfortable bolt hole just outside of Paris.
The home owner was very helpful and despite being on his holidays, came back and answered all queries very promptly.
The property is a 20 minute metro ride into the centre of Paris, the nearest metro station is a 10 minute walk away. It was ideal for us as we liked the peace & quiet and didn’t mind the travelling.
We couldn’t find the oven in the property, but it does have a microwave, so that was sufficient, as we mainly ate out. There is a local restaurant fairly close and lots of supermarkets.
I’d happily stay here again, but there would have to be a curtain up, upstairs covering the street lamp . Every night we would clip the throw (covering the sofa bed) up as a make shift curtain, which wasn’t ideal and I can see someone else has also mentioned this.
Also there is a florist opposite who had a delivery at 5.20am on the Tuesday morning, which was unexpected and must surely wake up a lot of the neighbours, but cannot be helped by the property owner. Either way a curtain upstairs is a must.
All in all the property was ideal for us and aside for the lack of curtain upstairs, we had a good stay.
The hosts were very accommodating. When I asked if there was a fan for the downstairs bedroom, he went and bought a new one! We were quite comfortable here.
Only a couple of recommendations (mostly for Americans): blow-dryer, toaster, and room darkening shades (unfortunately, the bedrooms face a street light :( .
It is a solid 15 minute walk to the metro, which is a bit far. However, on the positive side, the house is on a very quiet street. The maisonette is attached to the bigger house by the courtyard---picture you see on the post, but it is very private.
Oh, and if you are afraid of dogs, it's a no go. They have 2 little yippers that don't really like guests. They bark a lot, but did not bite. We tried to make friends, but they just didn't cozy up to us, and are very territorial.
Overall, I can comfortably recommend these accommodations and host.
Very nice, cute little house. The upstairs and bedroom are very clean and well maintained. The upstairs bed is very comfortable. We found the the host to be extremely helpful and nice, and parking was easy. The metro is about a 12 minute fast-paced walk away--15 if you are taking your time. It might be a challenge to depend on if you have to drag heavy suitcases. The downstairs bedroom was a bit musty but Alek immediately gave us a fan which cleared it up quickly when we expressed our concerns. We enjoyed our stay.
Nice cozy place
The place is comfortable and roomy with great skylights. A little bit of a walk to the nearest metro but not too bad. There’s quite a few restaurants in the area.
15 minutes by car to the Champs Elysées. Underground station Mairie de Clichy line 13 the 2nd urban zone only 10 minutes by foot from the holiday house.
