Excellent property in a rural location

A lovely, well equipped typically French property in a rural location. Communication with the owner was excellent and despite a mix up on arrival this was soon resolved. The property is about 20 mins outside of Périgueux and in a great location for exploring other areas as well.

We enjoyed an excellent stay in this charming house. Perfect for families!

The house is clean, welcoming and spacious, peacefully located with some other houses in the coutryside. We stayed with our family of five and another family of four, with children aged 1 to 7. Everything was as described. We liked the garden with play set, Nice pool, different terasses, bbq-area, .... the kitchen was well equiped, and there was even a space to cook outdoors. Communication with the owner and the lady who takes care of the house was efficient. We shopped for groceries in nearby villages, Mensignac and St-Astier, but Perigueux is a beautiful little town with excellent shopping and a market twice a week, only 20min away. I would definitely recommend thisplace for a relaxing family holiday.

Gite sympa, et cadre calme. Gestion à améliorer

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, et le gite et la piscine sont vraiment confortable. Le seul bémol reste sur la gestion durant les vacances: On nous demande d'arriver a 17h30 le premier jour car la personne est occupée avant, on nous demande de partir à 9h30 le dernier jour car le ménage est à faire (ce n'est pas indiqué qu'en prenant l'option ménage on réduit l'heure de départ), le parasol est cassé à notre arrivée (pas d'ombre le matin aux abords de la piscine et peu l'après-midi; avec un nourrisson ce n'est pas possible de rester près de la piscine), et ne sera pas remplacé avant notre départ, le double de la clé du gite ne nous sera fourni que le troisième jour (pas pratique à deux familles). Nous avons retrouvé beaucoup de vaisselle sale dans les placards, et le gite est envahit de mouches (avec des attrapes mouches collants déjà saturés à notre arrivée). Le robot de la piscine n'est passé que deux fois par semaine, et il semble qu'il n'avait pas été passé avant notre arrivée (dommage de ne pas arriver avec une piscine propre). Donc, globalement c'est un gite vraiment sympa, mais il manque une gestion efficace.
