Great cabin located 2 miles north of Forks on the world famous Sol Duc River. This very comfortable, all cedar cabin, has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bathroom with a shower/tub combination, Direct TV, wireless internet, is fully furnished and has a washer and dryer. We're close to the Olympic National Park's greatest attractions; the Hoh Rain Forest and it's ancient, moss covered trees, the numerous ocean beaches (2nd Beach is our favorite), Sol Duc Hot Springs, and the rugged Northwest Coast area along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Right here on the river, eagles soar overhead, otters play, and fish migrate home. It's the same river where Edward of 'Twilight' fame lives and hunts with his family.

Absolutely Amazing Stay!
My husband is a dedicated hiker, so I wanted to take him to the Hoh Rainforest for his birthday. We had never used VRBO before, but there aren’t many hotels in Forks so we decided to try it; I’m SO thankful we did! This cabin is beautiful, and the owners take amazing care of it.
From outside it doesn’t look very big, but the inside is incredible. The décor was just what we were hoping for: log cabin look and feel. The interior architecture is beautiful, and the entire cabin is perfectly decorated and very, very clean. The cabin has a full-sized and fully-stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, two bedrooms with dressers and closets, and a bathroom which includes a sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower. The owners also provide wi-fi and satellite dish for entertainment, which is definitely my style of camping!
In addition to this, you can walk right out the back door onto the deck (which has a full-sized grill), cross the lawn, and have a spectacular view of the Sol Duc River! The owners have provided a table with chairs for dining and a pair of outdoor “rocking chairs,” which look out over the river. The cabin is also extremely well stocked with necessities; we brought a lot of supplies and didn’t need any of it!
The cabin’s location is also in a prime position for anything you might be interested in doing during your visit. When driving, downtown Forks is less than 5 minutes away, La Push (1st, 2nd, and 3rd beaches) is approximately 20 minutes, and the Hoh Rainforest Visitor’s Center is about 1 hour; we couldn’t have been more pleased!
Our biggest disappointment was the cabin is already booked the week my parents are visiting in June, so we can’t stay here again. From the location to the architecture to the décor and friendly owners, you can’t find a better cabin in Forks, WA. This is truly our dream vacation home, and we can’t wait to come back and stay here again!
Thank you for your wonderful review, Melissa! It means a lot to us personally that you enjoyed yourselves and liked our cabin. I'll let you know if we have a cancellation when your parents will be in the area, and we'll look forward to you coming back sometime.

Quiet, cozy cabin
We loved our stay here! It was so spacious, yet cozy! We enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the river. We appreciate being able to do some laundry too! JoAnn was great about getting back to us with answers to our questions. If we come back to the area, we'd stay here again!
nice, clean. Had every thing we needed. great setting.
beautiful setting. Easy to find.
Great cozy log cabin, very clean and quiet
My wife and I had a great time staying in this log cabin. Had all the amenities to cook meals, directtv was nice, beds were comfy, river overlook was neat, owners were friendly, and it’s just a great place to get away from it all and get some peace and quiet. Highly recommend.
Fit our needs. And a nice sitting spot overlooking the river.
sweet little hideaway
Good location for accessing the beaches, rain forest, and close to town for supplies/restaurants. Nice log cabin feel inside and VERY well stocked; including wide array of spices and good supply of coffee (which I don't always find to be the case). Loved sitting at the river overlook; very serene.
A great home base for visiting the major attractions of Olympic National Park or fishing the many fresh water rivers in the area. We're close to Hoh Rain Forest, ocean beaches, Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge, and Sol Duc Hot Springs. Cape Flattery, Shi Shi Beach and the Northwest Coast are also close by.
