The condo has panoramic mountain views to the northwest overlooking Canada’s first and finest… Banff National Park. The condo was completed in the summer of 2004 and sports all the modern amenities of condo living with a rustic mountain Canadiana style for a luxurious yet cozy and comfortable mountain retreat.

The condominium features a dramatic 23-foot vaulted ceiling and 12 ft. wrap around wall of windows which are extraordinary for viewing the majestic mountain vista and Banff’s Rundle and Cascade Mountains. The prettiest hours of the day are dawn and dusk, the glow on the mountains casts a warm light into the condo. Delight in the stunning views whether you are pampering yourself in the rooftop hot-tub, basking on the sunny sofa or grilling at the propane barbeque on the balcony. The scenery pictures included are taken from either the balcony or from inside the unit. The photos really don’t capture this panoramic stunning mountain view.

With 950 square feet of living space you will find the condo to be cozy & comfortable. The river stone gas fireplace sets the mood for a warm rustic retreat. Soft furnishings have recently been replaced and include a modern tufted leather sofa, ottoman and lounge positioned for optimal mountain views. Rustic side tables and cozy cabin pillows complete the inviting space. Living room is equipped with a LG flat screen television.

The fully-equipped kitchen comes complete with stainless steel Bosch dishwasher, microwave, fridge. Fresh and clean dinner/glassware and utensils. Everything you need and more to prepare a gourmet meal. The heated floor provides additional warmth and extravagance in the kitchen. The stix dining room table adds a rustic mountain touch and leather chairs provide modern comfort that is perfect for a family gathering or a romantic dinner. For casual dining or gathering around the kitchen, two leather bar stools saddle up to the breakfast/wine bar.

LOFT MASTER 1: The open loft master bedroom has a queen bed with a down duvet, tufted modern headboard, rustic side tables and modern lamps to create a warm comfortable master bedroom. The unit is equipped with a selection of pillows for your personal preference. The unusual master bath is open to the bedroom and has a stand up shower unit, ample fresh towels and full closet for storage. This is a open loft and overlooks the unit below.

BEDROOM 2: Fully enclosed bedroom with a queen size bed and duvet, hutch for storage, desk and half closet. Adjacent from this bedroom is the main full bathroom with shower tub combo.

This unit is located on the top/4th floor for optimum views and is accessible by stairs or elevator. The balcony is spacious and delightful for summer evenings and is equipped with two chairs, small table and barbecue for grilling. One indoor heated parking space is complimentary with the rental however plenty of free parking is available outside around the building for extra vehicles. The unit in general is equipped with many more amenities then you would find in a hotel room to make your stay feel like home.


Canmore Crossing building has two rooftop hot tubs and one indoor hot tub. The rooftop hot tub has the best views in the entire Bow Valley, a 360 degree full panorama…take your camera for this luxurious soak. Hot tub towels are also provided in the unit. A basic fitness room is located at the end of the hall; it has weights and a few machines including a treadmill and plenty of space for a workout.


Canmore is the gateway to Banff National Park, a mere 10 minutes from this UNESCO world heritage site. Banff National Park is world-renowned for its majestic peaks and glacier lakes, amazing activities, sightseeing and wildlife sighting opportunities. Canmore Crossing condominium is located in the hub of downtown Canmore, historically a mining town. Today, Canmore is a vibrant and modern town with 10,000 + residents, a quaint mountain town. The condo itself is a short walk away from downtown Canmore and the finest shops, galleries and restaurants in the Bow Valley. This location is steps (1 min walk) away from key services like grocery (Safeway), liquor, postal, banking and coffee shops. Across the road from the condo is access to the huge downtown network of walking trails, don’t miss a stroll around the Bow River and the historic bridge, it is a local favourite. Canmore is a superb hub for discovering Calgary, Kananaskis, Parks of the Canadian Rockies and beyond.

Our unit is priced the same as a single standard hotel room. For the same price you receive these extra’s: panoramic wall of windows with magnificent Rockies views, balcony to step outside and enjoy the crisp mountain air, fully stocked kitchen and dining room, comfy lounge and a extra loft bedroom. It is a perfect ski getaway, hub to explore the Canadian Rockies, romantic getaway or quite simply a retreat from the hustle and bustle! Relax, unwind and rejuvenate in the magical mountains!


INDEPENDENT TRAVELER - This unit is best suited for the independent traveller. We are nearby but unable to respond to all issues immediately. We are not a hotel or a vacation rental company we are an independent condo owner and manager and therefore we and our guests do not have access to 24 hour hotel services. We do our best to resolve issues as fast as we can, however if something breaks during your stay we may or may not be able to fix immediately.

ZONED VACATION RENTAL - This unit is in a legal vacation rental zone in Canmore. Many units and listings are not which can be potentially disruptive for your vacation. It is located in the downtown core away from the Trans Canada highway.

CORRESPONDENCE: Email is the best way to correspond as we have full time jobs and are not always available to receive phone calls.

NATIONAL PARK PASS: We keep a National Park Pass in the condo for guest usage; however we do not guarantee it will be there as guests sometimes lose it. This is a $130 value for guests to travel in the National Park.


60 day notice prior to check in, to receive a deposit refund less $35 administration fee. Cancellations occurring after 60 days are non refundable. If we can sell the dates at full price we may be able to offer alternate available dates within the year.

This property is special due to its central location in the valley which affords panoramic views from almost every location in the condo. The alpen glow at dawn and dusk is an attraction in itself. This condo is rustic, cozy and comfortable, but essentially it is all about the amazing mountain views, which can be enjoyed from inside the condo through the two storey wall of windows.

What makes this condo unique

Location, Location, Location!

This condo truly is in the middle of the downtown with walking access to main street. It was one of the original condo developments in Canmore and due to this has the best location. Most other condo units are situated along the Trans Canada highway. It is so nice to leave on foot and navigate the town trails, stroll by the winter skating pond or over the historic mining bridge along the Bow River then hit the many cafes or restaurants in the quaint downtown to refuel.

The best part of my time here is getting out and enjoying the outdoors. After a good day of hiking or skiing, soaking in the roof top hot tub with its 360 panoramic views can’t be beat.

Dear Danielle,

We just wanted to write and let you know how much we enjoyed our Chirstmas holidays at your condo in downtown Canmore. The location was superb, we skied 4 different ski resorts during the day, popped out and walked downtown for dinners to the fabulous restarants and pubs around town. We explored many of the walking trails from the trail head across Railway Ave and found everything to be superb value .

Thank you for allowing us to decorate our own Christmas Tree, we bought a real one and hand made most of our decorations. It was lovely, very special for the kids, particularly seeing the snow on Christmas Day! Banff and Lake Louise is a winter wonderland, what Christmas fantasies are all about. We enjoyed a short stay in this beautiful condo, WOW! From the instant we opened the door we were blown away by the 180 degree panoramic mountain view. All the creature comforts of home, fully stocked kitchen, nice linens & cozy fireplace. This was the perfect home base to discover nearby Banff National Park. In fact, we loved how quiet Canmore was, easy to navigate and close to all conveniences such as grocery, restaurants and any services. Will definitely be back...we LOVED this place! Thank you so much Danielle for sharing your amazing mountain home! We will be back!

Good Location

Good location of the Cozy mountain Condo Canmore, located opposite supermarket and other shops .

Peaceful apartment easy to walk into town . Lots of things to see and do around Canmore and the locals are lovely . Great walks all around the area . Banff is only 20mins away and local bus very good .

The Condo is a good size beautiful view out over the mountains . Only thing we did not like was the open plan bedroom upstairs with an open plan bathroom looking onto bedroom ,no privacy at all .There is as solid half balcony you can look over and view sitting room below and the other people downstairs in sitting room /kitchen can hear everything if your in the bathroom.

Cleaning crew should be a little more observant to crumbs and wrappers in-between sofa cushions and socks and things under dressers plus it looked like it had not been vacuumed in a while under the chest of draws.

Other from that, had a fun filled time in Canmore. Great Town to visit.

Owner's Response: We graciously open the doors of our Canmore apartment (valued at nearly a half million dollars), to guests trusting them with our property and hoping they will have a quality home base to explore the Canadian Rockies. We are very conscientious of the cleanliness and try to provide good quality furnishing and supplies throughout. Based on this review we have ordered a deep clean for the next check in. We have an amazing and high quality cleaning crew that looks after our unit. After an extraordinarily busy summer in the Rockies all tourism staff are exhausted and ready for a break. It is possible our crew missed some crumbs for the last check in. Although we expect a high standard presentation of our unit, as mentioned in the unit description I am not in Canmore and can not inspect each check in and nor does our pricing reflect that level of service. As for our unit design, it is unusual and disclosed in the listing description. We encourage guests to read the listing prior to booking. Our unit is priced the same as a standard hotel room but in addition offers panoramic wall of windows with Rockies views, balcony, fully stocked kitchen & a comfy living room over 950 square ft. to spread out. I encourage readers to have a look at the other reviews we have listed here where guests report great experiences. Writing a review online stating our unit is not clean is a big accusation in the accommodations industry and not taken lightly. We have never received a 3 star review in the past and we do not feel 3 stars is an accurate assessment of our lovely apartment. This guest sent us a very rude email the very first day of her stay and at that point ultimately we wanted her to leave and invited her to do so with a full refund if she was dissatisfied. We don’t want rude, unappreciative people staying in our unit however she chose to stay. In 15+ years of providing vacation rental services this is the worst guest we have ever encountered. We would rate this guest the same, 3 stars meaning not welcome to return.

In addition to interests within the park, the following is a list of great things to do while visiting:

-Hike Johnston Canyon, summer or winter with ice cleats

-Ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain by Gondola or hike to the top and ride down.

-Hike Tunnel Mountain, it's the local stairmaster.

-Drive the Spray Highway, high above Canmore to Kananaskis Country, great opportunity for wildlife sightings.

-Whitewater Rafting, Skiing, Horseback riding.

-Visit spectacular sites and trails of Yoho

-Walk on an ancient glacier on the Icefield Parkway
