Charming and romantic house for 2/4 people. Old country house which was completely renovated in 2010 in the style of the country with terracotta floors and chestnut tree door and window frames. Situated in the village of Messenano, 14 km from the historical centre of Spoleto. Grocers 1 km. Other shops and restaurants in Baiano 3 km. Station 3 km.
3-room house 80 m2: living/dining room with fireplace, wi-fi, colour TV and double bed. Kitchen with dining area (oven, freezer). 2 rooms with double bed. Bath/shower/WC. 2 terraces. Parking near the house. (Oil fired heating).

splendido piccolo borgo umbro
un piccolo gioiello, un equilibrio magico tra pubblico e privato, accoglienza ed assistenza ottima; all'interno di un raggio di 30 Km. si possono visitare meravigliose località storiche; l'ospitalità è stata di una correttezza e gentilezza esemplare. excellent séjour familial en Ombrie
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette belle région et cette charmante maison de vacances, en dépit de la chaleur des 1ers jours, car si ! il peut faire très chaud dans la région (peut-être prévoir des ventilateurs dans les chambres ?) ; l'accueil était très bon, merci pour le vin (du coup j'ai trouvé du Grechetto à Trevi et j'en ai acheté :). Le voisinage est plutôt discret (même si on peut entendre les gens ou la télé car les maisons sont très proches les unes des autres), les ruelles s'animent surtout le soir, mais nous n'avons pas été dérangés. Nous avons juste été déçus que la piscine mentionnée sur la page de présentation soit désormais privatisée, elle faisait vraiment envie (et il n'y a pas non plus de lave-linge). Les principales villes sont facilement accessibles par les voies rapides ou l'autoroute, à 20-25 mn de Messenano (je ne roule pas vite). Nous avons donc visité Spoleto, Assisi, Peruggia, ainsi que Gubbio au retour, nous nous sommes baignés au lac Trasimène (je ne m'étais jamais baignée dans une eau aussi chaude !) ; nous avons également choisi de faire 2 excursions hors d'Ombrie : la 1ère en Toscane à Montepulciano (à cause du film Twilight 2 ;) et la 2nde à Rome, les 2 à 1h30 de route, mais on peut aussi aller à Rome en train par Spoleto. Nous avons fait aussi le "Parc des Monstres" près de Terni, nous avions prévu de voir les cascades de Marmore mais un contretemps (et une mauvaise organisation :( ) nous en ont finalement empêchés, c'est un vrai regret. Nous avons dîné à 2 reprises au restaurant "El Paso" situé dans le village voisin de Firenzuola , à 5 mn en voiture, qui est de très bon rapport qualité-prix et la dame qui nous a servi les 2 fois était vraiment gentille, elle a fait beaucoup d'efforts pour nous comprendre et nous aider à comprendre les plats au menu ;). La région est vraiment jolie, je trouve qu'elle est peut-être un peu méconnue en France, on n'a pas croisé vraiment de touristes français, hormis à Assise, mais du coup, ça donne une ambiance plus authentique. La plupart des villes sont perchées mais il y a souvent des escaliers roulants ou des ascenseurs ingénieusement dissimulés pour ne pas dénaturer les lieux, ceux de Pérouse sont dans la ville souterraine, c'est vraiment à voir. Merci donc à Emanuela et son mari de nous avoir permis de découvrir (un peu) votre belle région.

Gemütlich!
In einer ehemaligen historischen Festungsanlage eine ausreichend große Wohnung mit allem was man so braucht während einer Woche. Zwei Terrassen ermöglichen morgens entspanntes Frühstücken und abends ebenso entspanntes Weintrinken! Nettes Umfeld, nette unaufdringliche Vermieterin und auch viel Platz für unseren Hund. Fazit : Alles gut!

piccolo paradiso Umbro
La casa corrisponde pienamente all'inserzione. Domina la quiete e la pace. La proprietaria è una persona genitlissima, cortese, e molto discreta. Casa Pulita. I due lettoni sono comodi. L'Umbria è una regione fantastica. La consiglio sia per la sua storia, che per i suoi paesaggi. Fantastico ogni angolo di questa regione. Abbiamo visitato Spoleto, Orvieto, Assisi, Spello, Le cascate delle Marmore, il lago Piediluco, le sorgenti di Clitunno. Tutto fantastico. Consigliamo la pizzeria El Paso a tre minuti di auto da casa. Ad Assisi consigliamo anche una piadineria biologica in centro, graditissima dai ragazzi: si trova in Via Giotto, 3 - ottima la piadina con la porchetta tagliata sottilissima. Ad Orvieto, ci siamo trovati bene al ristorante Al San Francesco, self service, veloce in centro a due passi dal Duomo. Come attrazioni ci siamo trovati molto bene alle cascate delle Marmore; consiglio per le famiglie il sentiero N°2 e N° 3. Tutto fantasticamente Bello!!! Un ringraziamento speciale ad Emanuela. Mia figlia Giulia e La sua amica Sofia hanno definito la casa: l'oasi del relax e della pace!
