Townhome, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 9)

We first visited Big White in 2000 and immediately fell in love with it. We've skied and boarded many resorts in France, Austria, Italy, USA and Canada. Big White certainly isn't the biggest resort, but it's definitely the most fun. Since having kids, it's even more fun coming here and there's no doubt about its claim to be in the top 5 kids' centers in the world. We live in Europe, our kids both love travelling and they're going to be better skiers and snowboarders than us!
Owner purchased this Townhouse in 2002
Why Owner chose Beaverdell
Fantastic snow and great family atmosphere
What makes this Townhouse unique
Looking out the window at a foot of fresh powder and knowing we can be on the lift before most people have finished breakfast. Sitting in the hot tub with a cold beer, watching the last of the skiers making their way down to Happy Valley. Having a snowball fight with the kids out the front of Blacksmith.

The layout of this house is truly amazing. We had great snow so were hardly there! The place could use a little extra effort in the cleaning dept but really was okay, the house keepers need to be just a little more mindful. Oh well. It’s pretty much ski in ski out but I specifically asked if it would work for boarders and was told yes.....no way can boarders ski out of this place. We would stay again but not with board buddies.
Hi Breena. Thank you for your comments. I probably should have provided some guidance. If you climb the snowbank outside the back door and strap in at the top, you can get a glide all the way down to the main lifts without stopping. If there’s been a heavy snowfall, sometimes that can slow down the glide. But me and my kids regularly get to the lifts without any issues. I've also contacted the groomer to make sure they go past Blacksmith before the lifts open, so that should sort out any future issues.
Jan 2-5 stay was great!!!
Had a great time. Location was great for ski in and ski out! We’re able to see fireworks and a little bit of the skating rink from the deck. Owner was very responsive to my questions and kitchen and rooms were well stocked with basic amenities!
Thank you for your kind review Kirsten. Please get in touch if you'd like to visit again. Kind regards. Nick

Great location and wonderful amenities
This is our third time staying st the Blacksmith And have loved it every time.
The location is incredibly convenient, close to the Village and Happy Valley with easy ski in/out access.
The hot tub and bbq are an added bonus.
Well stocked kitchen and nice big table to accommodate dinners, game nights, great conversations with family & friends.
Love the location
Large enough for multiple families. A good ski in and ski location at a family fun ski resort
There's lots of activities such as snowmobiing, snow shoeing, horse drawn sleighing, dog sledding, carnival nights, bingo nights, skating and lots more...
