About Sherri Congrove
I am a Yuma Native! Having lived here for over 40 years, I can direct you to the best little hole in the wall places you have ever eaten! I am a Real Estate Agent, and in my spare time, I am a sculptor.
Sherri Congrove purchased this House in 2010
Why Sherri Congrove chose Foothills
I love the quietness and tranquility of this area. Mostly I love that this has been, for me, a very safe area. It is an eclectic mix of homes and mobile homes, where many many winter visitors meet and socialize. You will see folks out walking in the early mornings and evenings, enjoying the beautiful winter weather. There are Mountains within blocks and they are a great place to hike. Many folks love to scout out the area and golf courses. Come join them!!
What makes this House unique
I love sitting on the back porch early in the morning watching the sun rise over the mountain, and enjoying my coffee. I enjoy the old fashioned feeling of friendly neighbors, folks out walking their dogs early mornings, or evenings.

Here We Are Again!
I have lost track of how many times we have stayed at Sherri's wonderful comfortable home!
We love staying there!
And now we can add that there are also great neighbors too!
Great vacation home
The house was very clean & comfortable in a nice area of Yuma. Everything we needed was there.
The back patio area was super nice with plenty of seating.
We texted Sherri a couple of times with questions & she was very quick to get back to us.
We would love to stay again sometime in the future!
Nice home .
YUMA Foothills stay
The place was nice and comfortable. The issue we had was the towels were very worn and thin. There was no toilet paper or paper towels and we had no contact number to call in case of a problem. We had to go purchase toilet. The light bulb in the master shower was out so you had to shower in the dark.
We are very sorry your stay was not what you are used to.
There is ALWAYS a roll of paper towels and several rolls of toilet placed in the home by our trained cleaning lady for each guest’s visit.
There is a drawer full of clean kitchen dishtowels and dishcloths.
Most people use those to dry dishes and hands instead of paper towels. Perhaps you did not see it.
There are 2 full linen closets full of clean linens. After your stay, I personally checked these and found that there were indeed 3 towels out of 16 bathtowels that, while still clean, thick and servicable, did have a bit of fray on the edges. I have removed these towels, and added fresh new towels. Perhaps you did not find the other linen closet.
You may always find my phone number on the VRBO webpage under owner, on your contract, and more importantly on the email sent to you before your arrival with your check in instructions.
We were unaware of the burned out light in the shower and we will have that replaced. There are 3 lights in the bathroom and a huge frosted glass window over the garden tub so the bathroom is well lit.
We do hope you enjoyed the beautiful mountain view, and peace and quiet while at the home.
We hope you enjoyed a huge array of coffees and teas, a pantry and cupboard full of herbs and spices, creams and sugars, and supplies for your cooking needs.
We wish you safe travels.
Christmas family visit
We stayed at this nice home with my sister and her family. It is conveniently locked to our families house I. The Yuma foothills. This was our second stay at the home and enjoyed the visit just as much the second time around. Would stay here again.
My home is out of Yuma and therefore the main attraction would be the quiet. However it is a real hotspot for many winter visitors and is bustling with parties, socializing, golf and walking, or hiking. Riding an ATV up the mountain is also very popular. But Yuma and Mexico is very close and it would take about 20 minutes to get to more restaurants, movie theatres, shopping centers, and Old Town in Yuma. Mexico is a popular place for shoppers, and is only about 30 minutes away.
