Our ocean view, 3 bedroom -2 bath condo is steps to the sand in Playa del Rey’s beachside community.

The cozy unit sleeps 6+ is freshly painted, stocked and set up for beach fun: kitchen supplied for cooking with amenities including coffee, teas, sugar, and spices - high thread-count linens, bathrobes, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers - supplies for days in the sand including beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and toys for the kids.

Enjoy a view of the yacht races and incredible sunsets from the balcony. Escape crowded beaches with the one in the backyard mainly frequented by locals.

This hideaway is nestled within the exclusive few block area surrounded by Santa Monica Bay to the west, Marina del Rey and Ballona Creek to the north, and Del Rey Lagoon to the east.

The property is one building from the beach & approximately 50 yards to the sand with direct view of the Santa Monica Bay.

Please note: Our location is one row of buildings away from the sand. Our view is thru the easement at the end of 64th Avenue and can be seen from Northeast side of the building including from the balcony, the lounge room, the kitchen bar area and from within the west bedroom.

Next to the bike path, Olympian volleyball practice nets, and near marina bike, kayak and boat rentals. It’s an ideal location for families or couples.

A short walk to the village restaurants, pubs and markets, allows guests to forget about driving for their stay.

With the recently opened Playa Provisions Restaurant and Bacari Wine Bar opening late July 2014, Playa eateries within walking distance are on the rise.

Playa del Rey is minutes from LAX and the 405, 105, 110, 10, 90 freeways to Downtown LA, Staples Center, Staples & Nokia Centers, Beverly Hills and farther locations such as Santa Barbara and San Diego.

Perfect for a family gathering!

Location is perfect - cute little hidden part of L.A. beach scene, practically across the street from the beach, and within walking distance of shops and eateries.

Condo is warm and cozy and has everything you need for cooking, for family & friends to gather, and a place for everyone to sleep.

Cheryl is a wonderful host - left treats and goodies to welcome us and to give us a start for our first breakfast, and made it easy for us to have a place for everyone in our family to have a place to sleep. She stopped in to welcome us, checked in to see if we needed anything, and followed up with us to see how everything was going.

The condo is even better than the pictures portray and we would happily return for a vacation!

Beach Paradise

The location of this condo is fabulous! Not only is it steps to the beach, it is also close to a wetlands protected area. There is even a park close to it with a playground. We loved how quiet this beach is - it is truly paradise. Playa Provisions is near by if you want a coffee for your morning beach time. There is a paved path on the beach for running or biking. Also, I found the pictures of the condo to be quite accurate and the picture that shows the view from the deck is exactly what you get. Speaking of the deck, it is set up very nicely for relaxing and enjoying the view without leaving the condo.

You won't find a nicer host. Although we did not meet Cheryl, she was a great communicator and extremely helpful. We had spent the day traveling and were delighted to find a few provisions provided to get us going until we got to the store.

The only minor complaint is my husband is a light sleeper and although the neighborhood is very quiet; Saturday night was a bit noisy and the windows in the master bedroom did not muffle the sound.

Great property and excellent owner!

Property IS NOT on the Sand as I expected. Description says steps into the sand/beach is misleading. The view is misleading as well, you only get partial corner view of the ocean!

Cheryl is excellent in communicating and she was very accommodating for my family! Property had great instructions and welcome package. It literally had everything someone would have in their house plus extra!

Only reason for 4 stars is deceiving view and description of the property!

3rd Time Staying Here, Everything Was Great

This is the 3rd time staying here. The host/owner of the home is great. All the checkin information is detailed, so there is never a need to every contact her. She leaves a little welcome basket, which is always a nice touch (great way to start your trip out). Even though we are in winter, weather was mid 70's, so we were able to walk across he street to the beach for a day. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen with everything you need. This is our goto rental each year when we visit family in LA.
