Fantastic, lovely home in a convenient location

  • 5 of 5

We were doing a tour of several national parks as well as Sedona. This home was located right in the middle of everywhere we were going. Alissa made sure that she greeted us, but also provided privacy. The home has everything you will need, plus some. Everything was well stocked and very, very clean. It really is the perfect place for a family to rest in when you are not out exploring the beauty of Northern Arizona. Highly recommend !

Beautiful home in peaceful setting!

  • 4 of 5

House is beautifully decorated. The patio outside is very relaxing. The beds are very comfortable! The supplies available at the home were clean and new (plates, pots, pans, etc). Our only

Request was another roll or two of paper towels and tissue. Also, bedrooms could use some curtains to block out the morning sun.

It was a perfect Northern Arizona vacation. The house was everything you could need plus beautiful views. Great location for Sedona, the G.C, Flagstaff, and local hikes of varying difficulty. Would rent again and again. Thank you Alissa!

Lovely, Clean, Comfortable House tucked away in a National Forest near the Grand Canyon

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for our trip to the Grand Canyon. It is conveniently located near enough to the Grand Canyon South Rim to make day trips there, but in a remote rural neighborhood in a National Forest.

The house has 2 bedrooms, both could be considered the Master Bedroom, one upstairs in a private Loft and one downstairs, each with its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. The decor is very nice, too, more like a Lodge feel than overly Southwest in style. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals, if you like. You will need to pick up ziploc bags, napkins, paper towels, if you plan to pack a picnic lunch for your day trips.

In the mornings and evenings, we'd either sit on the back porch and enjoy the view shown in the VRBO photo, or in the living room around the fire.

The place is heated by gas fireplaces or stoves in nearly every room, which was cozy and warm. I don't know if there is Air Conditioning, so that would be a good thing to check before coming in the summer.

There is also a futon in the living room and a smaller one in a nook off the downstairs bedroom, so the house could nicely accommodate 2 couples or a large family.

There are rentals closer to the Grand Canyon, but for the price point, gorgeous location and house, we would stay here again.
