Our country home has a total of 5 bedrooms and sleeps 10 comfortably. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level with two king beds and 2 twin beds. The lower level has 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds. Large updated kitchen on main level with seating for 11 adults and 4 kids! The lower level also has a separate living area with kitchenette. Perfect divided yet contiguous space for 2 families or large groups traveling together. The lower level also has a separate office/gym, Golden Tee Machine, Foosball table, weight bench and elliptical machine. The home is the perfect getaway if you want peace and quiet in the country with every amenity possible for ultimate comfort. Large deck off rear of house opens up to an expansive 7 acres of land complete with fruit and nut tree's, a pond stocked with fish and a newly added private in ground swimming pool.

Great house!

House was great, and the owner (Eric) was amazing. He was so quick to respond to all my questions before and during our stay. Only negative is that the beds were so uncomfortable. There were 4 of us and we each stayed in different rooms. But that could just be us. Other than the beds, everything else was great! House was very big and the pool was nice too.

Great place. Some pros and cons

Pros..

Owner was responsive and always called back with answers.

The place was clean. Very well cared for.

The pool was awsome!!!

Cons..

Internet was weak. The wifi exists but was almost useless.

The phone signal in that area was really bad at least for t-Mobile. Others had Verizon and their phones had good connection.

Nothing to do in town but I guess that's the natute of it. Most of us didn't miss going out anyway.

All in all, most people in the group liked the place enough to be interested in it again in the future and considering this was our first time doing this, we're really glad we picked this house and had a good experience.

Peaceful property, house needed some updates..

We loved the property and the layout of the house. The cons were a lot of little things, but they do add up. The downstairs TV did not turn on, even after rotating batteries from the other remotes upstairs. One of the 3 remotes upstairs did not have batteries in it. There were not quite enough washcloths (for showering) to go around for our group, so we were having to launder them several times. Finally I just bought 10 washcloths and 4 dishwashing cloths from the local Wal-Mart and left them at the property. The kids enjoyed the pool, but the net was broken so cleaning the bugs out was a problem. Also, the lawn furniture (including the glass table and umbrella) were at the bottom of the pool. We were able to pull it all out and set it up again. The propane tanks were both empty upon our arrival so we couldn't grill. The owner did refund us, but we had to go up to Wal-Mart to switch them out ourselves. The kids playhouse was full of wasps/nests, so we sprayed it all out for the next guests to use it. The pros were the large area of the house, and that it was relatively clean. We cleaned out the chiminea on the deck and it provided a nice 'camp-out' experience for the kids. We loved the location and the salt water pool was a hit. The beds were comfortable, and the area was peaceful.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. As a host, I have dealt with just about every personalty type. most of my guests are courteous, kind, respectful and honest. Every so often I get a group that seems to complain about everything for some reason. There is some truth in this review and there are also some things that are false that I will now address. The batteries were in fact dead in the remote and the propane tanks were empty. I apologized and explained to the guest that its high season and I have back to back rentals with only 6 hours in between to clean and maintain the home. Whenever these issues are brought to my attention, I creatively and promptly find a way to rectify it. Regarding the batteries, there are extras stocked in the utility closet on the first floor. Regarding the propane that inadvertently was left empty, I offered to reimburse the guests if they could drive 1 mile to the gas station for a propane swap. I didn't recommend Walmart, which is farther from the house, that was their choice. Not only did I reimburse them but I also gave them an additional $50 credit to buy them dinner for the trouble. This was not mentioned in their review. Now for the things that are just plain false: There is no glass table anywhere near the pool so there couldn't have been a glass table in the pool. There is no glass near the pool. This would cause a safety issue. There were plenty of wash cloths and towels in the house. The guest laundered 6 towels and 6 wash cloths with their child's crayons and ruined them. They also got melted crayon all in my dryer filter. On the day of their departure, I needed to go purchase new ones and replace them after the cleaning crew home inspection. I brought this up to the guest, they did apologize but didn't even offer to pay to replace them which would have been the right thing to do. They purchased cheap dish towels and left them at the house, not washcloths. Yep - this is in the country and there are wasps that make nests. I usually leave a couple cans of wasp spray in the house which they used. The house is never "relatively" clean. It's very clean. We take great care and pride in this rental and we do a very thorough cleaning between each guest. None of these issues are typical and the rest just simply aren't true. Please see my other reviews of you would like more honest information.

Really nice property

The house was very nice and clean. Plenty of room for everyone. Pool was extremely nice. I would highly recommend staying here for a nice peaceful vacation.
