Why Beatrice Tita Sanvitale Simonetta chose Historic Center

Stay in the Loggia is like being on the deck of a ship, but there isn't under the sea, but the city of Florence. It dominates the whole city and its finest monuments, thanks to large windows that surround on three sides. We admire from the south east to south west, the church of San Miniato, the Michelangelo's Forte Belvedere, the tower of the Bargello, the church of the Badia and the Palazzo della Signoria, then we move the eyes to admire the dome of Brunelleschi and the Bell Tower of Giotto, ending with the hills of Fiesole located on the north side of the house. This sense of ownership of the city is almost inebriant, the breathing is full and rewarding, surrounded by so much beauty you can breathe differently and live with a complete awareness. Reading, listening to good music, go out and be in the heart of the city give a particular character to this small house and yet so large. Few can be in Florence and dominate it both spiritually and practically. No noise comes to the Loggia, but just get to be immersed in everyday life and masterpieces that are intensely aware of Florence, perhaps, the most artistic city in the world.

Great location, views

  • 4 of 5

Lovely apartment in good location. Neat as a pin and Beatrice is a sweetie. Only issue is no water pressure in shower. Could barely get wet.

A wonderful apartment and a gracious hostess!

  • 4 of 5

We just spent 4 nights in this loft apartment and our host was Beatrice. She met us at the apartment when we arrived and gave us a tour of the apartment, as well as all of the information we needed to start sightseeing the next day. The apartment was exactly as described, it was clean and well maintained. We were very pleased to find that it was also close to all of the sights we wanted to see. We would recommend this apartment highly to anyone who wants to visit Florence and stay in an affordable, charming place!

Beautiful loft with ideal location

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in this beautiful loft apartment. The location is perfect - very close to Duomo, Bargello Museum, Palazzo Vecchio and just about anything else you might want to see while in Florence.

The apartment offers gorgeous views of the city, and made us all wish we could stay forever :) Beatrice was a great host, answered all of our questions and even left a binder full of tourist information and restaurant recommendations in the area.

Although there is an elevator in the apartment building, there are also 3 sets of stairs to climb, which would be a problem for anyone with accessibility issues. Also, the apartment did have air conditioning but it did not work quite as well as we had hoped. It was very warm in Florence at the time, but the apartment did not cool down much.

Other than that, the apartment was beautiful and in an ideal location for tourists! Thank you, Beatrice!

Great condo near Duomo

  • 5 of 5

The condo is in downtown Florence close to duomo and next to the Bargello museum and in walking distance to just about everything.

We loved the layout and the views from all the windows are extraordinary. Beatrice was very nice and helpful and easy to communicate with.

We definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to rent in Florence!

Most amazing loft apartment with fantastic views. Loved every minute of our visit to Florence. Well equipped unit and the bikes were a great plus. Neighborhood was central to all sightseeing.

Unforgettable Florence

  • 5 of 5

The apartment offers spectacular views of this beautiful city. It is well situated, well appointed, and close to all there is to see in Florence. Beatrice is a gracious and welcoming host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cradle of the Renaissance.

We would not hesitate for anyone wanting a great home base for exploring Florence!

from Florence Airport you can take a taxi. See the link for prices:

http://www.aeroporto.firenze.it/it/passeggeri/da-per-l-aeroporto/taxi.html

from the train station you can:

1) take a taxi (5 minutes/10 euros)

2) or if you prefer and don't have too much luggages you can walk from the station in the direction of the Duomo, pass the Duomo and take 'Via del Proconsolo' and then ask for 'Via de' Pandolfini'. This will take about 15/20minutes and it's a nice walk through the historic center

3) take the bus number C2 ( attention the bus is little!! If you have a lot of luggages I don't suggest you) and ask the driver to let you down in 'via Ghibellina', in front of Bargello museum.

The loft is next to Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Signoria, in the heart of Florence.

The loft is located on the fifth floor, you can take the elevetor until the fourth floor, than you have a flight of stairs.

Tuscan cusine offers intense flavors and aromas while cooking simple, almost poor, vegetables and meat are combined to bring out their natural qualities. There are food markets in the area of Sant'Ambrogio and San Lorenzo, where you can find farmers who sell the their products. The shopping is varied: the shops of high fashion in Via Tornabuoni, in the stalls of Piazza San Lorenzo there is something for every purse. Restaurants and wine shops are everywhere, in Florence, home of Chianti Classico. The theaters offer very good music and performances.
