This Beautiful villa is located in he Monteverde-Trastevere distric, one of the best residential areas of the Eternal City, built at the bottom of the ancient Janiculum hill. The Monteverde-Trastevere district is in close proximity to the historic hearth of the city, but at the same time, offers the quiet and comfort of a residential area.
The light-metro N8, the city surface subway, is a fast and direct connection to the city's center (few stops away from Largo Argentina or Piazza Venezia, the heart of the historic centre). The Villa is at a 5 minutes walking from Trastevere train station, which is in direct connection with the Fiumicino Airport, Termini central train station and St.Peter.
Things to do and see in the area: We suggest a walk to the top of the Janiculum hill (from Piazza Garibaldi you can enjoy a spectacular and romantic view of the city). Also worth visiting: il Fontanone (Gianicolo's fountain the one that is in he first scene of "La grande Bellezza"); the church of S.Pietro in Montorio, by the Bramante (the church is built on the spot where, according to the legend, St. Peter was crucified); the Basilica of S.Pancrazio and the catacombs built underneath it; Villa Doria-Pamphili and Villa Sciarra and their surrounding parks. At night the adjoining and lively quarter of Trastevere offers a wide choice of pubs, wine bars and restaurants.

About danila corinti
Hi, I'm Danila, as a person I’m dynamic (sometimes even too much), I love children, animals, gardening (if you decide to book your vacations with us you’ll see!), I love traveling and I love this job! I like to meet people, to talk to them, and sometimes, why not, keep in touch! It is truly fulfilling when, after spending a vacation in one of our places, people get back to me and let me know that they have had a good time! I can not always meet my guests in person (I divide my time between Rome and Tuscany, where we have a farm), but I personally answer to their questions, take care of their request and organize their sojourn. I’m glad when people decide to spend their vacation in our beautiful country, that I love so much, and I try to help them making the best of it!
danila corinti purchased this villa in 2000
Why danila corinti chose Gianicolense
This villa has belonged to our family from 1994, it is our home but, since we are often away on business, we rent it for a few months per year. It is designed and furnished like a real home, with all the amenities and with all the comfort you need. We hope that our guests will enjoy it as much as we do.
What makes this villa unique
Rome is among the most beautiful cities in the world (I would say the most beautiful, but it is my home, so i am a little partial!!). However, it is a large city, with millions of people and, like every large city, it has its problems; noise traffic and pollution are unfortunately a major issue, and you have to be a little careful with your purse, in some areas. Our district, however, is completely different, and that is why we love it so much. It lays on a small hill, close to the center, but, being exclusively a residential area, mainly made of detached houses, it is noise and pollution free, and it is very safe. When you get here it feels like you stepped in a village inside the city. We all know our neighbors here and stroll around in perfect safety night and day. It is also a very green area, there are two beautiful parks and many houses have their garden, so in spring you can hear the birds twitting and, when the trees are in blossom, a wonderful smell of flowers fills the air.
