Great 3 Bedroom 1 Bath beach house in great quiet neighborhood in convenient location adjacent to the ocean and beach access... Only 100 steps to Shoreline Park, with easy access via wooden stairs to a great quiet beach. Play area in the park for Kids! Walk, ride or drive a mile to the SB Harbor & scenic Breakwater. Just a little further down the coastline is Stearn's Wharf, lower State Street and the popular "Funk Zone" area. The Funk Zone is now home to over 10 restaurants, brew houses, a bakery, fish market, over 15 winery tasting rooms and shopping.

Ocean and island views from the kitchen, living rooms and one of the bedrooms, with a large south facing deck looking out on the ocean & islands beyond. Deck has seating for 6 and a seating area. Remodeled Kitchen and bathroom. 3 bedrooms have a King size, Queen size & Single beds. There is also a tropical private deck in backyard with patio table and chairs. There are 3 mature fruit trees - lime, lemon and tangelo available for you.

Ocean Palms Oasis is less than 1/2 mile to Mesa shopping, the popular Lazy Acres market and close to local restaurants, on the Mesa and at the Harbor and Stearn's Wharf area....including Tomas, Brophy Brothers, Rose Cafe, Mesa Burger, Corner Tap Brew House, Mesa Thai, The Breakwater, Harbor Restaurant, Santa Barbara Shellfish and many more options in the downtown area. All are walkable, if you are so inclined...

Amazing stay in Santa Barbara!

We stayed at this fantastic bungalow for 2 weeks this summer and had an amazing time. The place was exceptionally clean at check-in and Bryan even left some treats from the local store making us feel right at home! The kitchen was the best stocked of any rental I’ve stayed in which was great. The location is unbeatable if you’re looking for a peaceful stay in a nice neighborhood close to the ocean. Our child was thrilled there was a playground at the park just a block away and we loved our morning and evening walks along the ocean cliff path. The back deck also has views of the ocean (I missed this in the description) which was a wonderful surprise for us! The yard is beautiful and my child loved being able to pick fresh lemons from the tree. Bryan was an incredible host, was very easy to communicate with and even gave us some tips on fun local events happening while we were there. We are already thinking about how we can go back for even longer next summer!

Great spot!

Terrific stay with the family. Wonderful spot. Easy walk to Shoreline Park for access to beach and watching the sailing races! Enjoyed the fruit trees too! Thanks so much.

Slice of Paradise

This was by far our best rental experience. This is a special place, with an amazing location. It is a beautiful property, especially the amazing yard and garden. We enjoyed relaxing and having meals outside, with plenty of privacy and space in the back yard. The neighborhood is peaceful and locals were all very friendly. We were instantly immersed in Santa Barbara the culture and environment. Bryan is an extremely gracious and helpful host, offering help and advice from before we booked the property until after we had left. Communication was responsive and thorough, and all the recommendations were spot-on. He went far out of his way to ensure we had a spectacular time. The house is spotless and very well appointed. There were plenty of amenities and we found it easy to prepare meals. Beds were comfy and all towels and linens were fresh and clean. As described, it is a very short walk to the park and ocean. We found it a great home base for our adventures. It felt very much like a home, rather than a sterile rental house. If we find ourselves in the area again, this would be my first pick for a place to stay. 5+ Stars!

Amazing location, quiet neighborhood, beautiful gardens and outdoor space. Lovely ocean views indoors and out. Interior decor tasteful, kitchen supplies met every need. Host very attentive and responsive. Highly recommend this rental - only problem is that you may not want to leave!

I came to Santa Barbara to finish my degree at UCSB in the 70's and have never left....and have never been sorry. Lifelong surfer, hiker, mountain biker, volleyball player and traveler.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with the location that first time I saw it...unique. Great views of the ocean and islands from the lounge chairs in the front yard to the deck and the kitchen area. On a corner with all bedrooms off the street, quiet and private. You can be at the bluff looking out at the ocean in literally 3 minutes walk from the front door - do it often during the day...it never gets old!

It is so quiet at night, you should be able sleep well!
The stars and moon rise over the ocean are captivating!
Sunrises are often better than sunsets and over the ocean 365 days a year!
